Re:Architects of buildings in MV edit

I admit, I have gone somewhat overboard with the reverting of your edits. However, I suspected that you were yet another one of those pesky spammers who would add the architects names in a promotive tone. I apologize if you are not related to any of those spammers.

As far as I'm aware, most buildings have infoboxes that can place the architect's name in a field like:

|architect=Art Vandelay Inc.

I would have no problem if you placed the architect's name inside the infobox.

One problem that I do have with your editing was the addition of the architect's name in the lead of the Canada Place article. See here [1]. You seem to be adding things that were designed by DA Architects, which leads me to believe that you have some connection to the certain company. It's best to avoid editing articles that you have connections to per WP:COI.

On another note, I would disagree that radio stations are less important than architects. While these buildings may be functional and appealing, radio stations serve as a source of news in an emergency. Who knows when the big one may strike and we would all be relying on radio stations on news?

I appreciate if you would see my view on this. I am willing to strike out that warning if we can come to some consensus regarding this issue. Thanks and have a nice day. :)  єmarsee Speak up! 19:26, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
