The fossil records of bats starts at the Eocene, but these fossils are already fully developed bats. As these early bat fossils are 50 million years old, this implies that bats must have been diversified during the Paleocene. I don't see what's wrong with that statement (I'm refering to the Mammalia article). DaMatriX 20:32, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Okay, you convinced me. What about stating in the Mammalia article that bats first appear in the Eocene, but must have diversified in the Paleocene (or something like that)? DaMatriX 22:19, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
