Description of Megaman edit

I described the changes why I removed the info. Not only was one portion not cited without a citation but Megaman X Legacy Collection needs a page by itself. Check the pages I have a log of the description, 2601:642:4400:9F00:C8E4:3ED:4BC6:C571 (talk) 20:01, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help with Whodattt edit

It was so frustrating not being able to deal with him as I’m involved but he’s indefinitely blocked now. Of course he’s been using IPs to sock, so… Doug Weller talk 20:42, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

No worries, I have the pages on my watchlist in case any IPs sneak back! Tommi1986 let's talk! 20:47, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adam Riess edit

Hi this is Adam Riess. I was trying to edit my entry to add my list of doctoral students, some prizes won, updates to citation statistics and articles and recent research. You reverted this and I am not sure why I cannot do this? 130.167.171.218 (talk) 19:50, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

反共抗獨光復신의 edit

I suspect that 反共抗獨光復신의 (talk · contribs) is a member of the ever-growing CarlostheJackal01 sock menagerie. I filled a report wp:Sockpuppet investigations/CarlostheJackal01 Google translates "反共抗獨光復" as Chinese to "Anti-Communist Anti-Independence" and "신의" Korean for "faith". Running out of names? Thanks for the AIV report! Cheers Adakiko (talk) 10:52, 14 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Adakiko: Yes I did have a suspicion about that but had no basis to make that accusation but thanks for saying it too, at least someone else thought the same me!! Tommi1986 let's talk! 19:04, 14 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I looked at the sock report again - the checker was looking at the editor before I added the report. I'm superfluous! Sock reports can be such a pain. I wonder if there is a tool? Adakiko (talk) 20:17, 14 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Breakdancing History edit

I removed the notions that falsely linked the artform to 'Rob Roy on the Baltic', which is information no founding breakdancer would have come across nor had access to. If you Google Giesse Harad Polska or 'salmon district dance' not only is there no info in relation to breaking but virtually none at all. Also, a black and white picture of a teenage boy doing downwork in Moscow is misleading; breaking started in the Bronx and photos under its history section should reflect that.

Dance moves displayed by Conrad "Little Buck" Buckner, as well as other African-American performers from the '40s and '50s, were the precursors of what you see in breakdancing:

Ashley Graham (Resident Evil) - Article not Neutral / Heavily biased edit

Hello,

The article about Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4, specifically the updated version from the recent remake (2023), of which has been controversially changed to be "less sexualized", appears to be heavily biased towards those who wanted the changes and against those who did not.

To start, I am fairly confident that the majority of people, both in the West and in Asia, not only enjoyed the fan service of Ashley Graham in the original game, but enjoy fan service in pretty much any game that it appears in.

Once again, a handful of loud people on Twitter and a handful of virtue-signaling journalists get treated as if their views are that of the majority. Due to the sheer loudness of their shouting and screaming, as well as the fact that they have access to the entire "journalistic" apparatuses.

When in reality, I really think you would be hard pressed to find a real life person who agrees with any kind of puritanical censorship, especially as it becomes a horrifyingly fast growing trend.

Colleges and universities used to be a place of the most open discussion possible. Now they are places where anyone even slightly outside the opinions your are told you must hold get chased off campus with torches and pitchforks.

Similarly, the West and the United States in particular used to be the anti-censorship bastion. Free speech. Free art. Free comedy. Free expression. Now?... Even a SKIRT for god's sake is considered "sexualization" and "misogyny". Actually 1984.

But back to THIS article. Over and over and over and over again, the opinions of a handful of game journalists are touted as the truth. "So much better!" "OMG you go girl!" "Yassss! We think this is great for gaming!"

But nobody in the real world agrees with these weirdos. We like skirts. We like girls. We like 2B from Nier. We like sexy anime ladies. And we like fan service. I bet you not less than 90% of people who play the game would agree the censorship is ridiculous.

But in THREE different sections you tout the views and opinions and quotes of these terminally online, virtue signaling, Kim Jong Un level propagandized "journalists" and treat it as if it is fact, or is the majority opinion of the gaming community. It is neither.

So either remove the propaganda, or put some legitimate counterpoints to the pro-censorship pontifications in the article.

Thank you 2600:1700:1EF0:9E30:7437:CE77:FB6B:6F8F (talk) 22:43, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_on_the_Internet

Quote: "Especially after 2017, many accounts under the name of nationalism were created on YouTube and TikTok these accounts mostly belonged to Indians or Arabs. After 2020, many more racially and religiously motivated accounts appeared on TikTok many of which are still active posting a lot of hateful videos, and these accounts are painfully Christian or Muslim Religious nationalists"

Help with Philosophical pessimism and Antinatalism#Asymmetry between good and bad things edit

Hello there! I see you've been quite active in some things related to the above mentioned pages. I'm pinging you @Tommi1986: directly to ask for some help. I've started 3 initiatives for these pages. If you could spare some time in the near future, could you please take a look at the proposal and voice your opinion? Of course, if you have interest, time, and energy to participate that would be amazing!

Here are the projects:

1. Talk:Philosophical_pessimism#A proposal for an overhaul of the article — this initiative is already in progress. The idea is to raise the quality of the page by switching it from a mere historical account to a more encyclopedic format.

2. Talk:Philosophical_pessimism#A proposal to split the History into a dedicated page — related to the one above. The historical account is overly detailed. It would be much better to have a dedicated page for the history of philosophical pessimism and leave only a brief history in the main page.

3. Talk:Antinatalism#A proposal to create a dedicated page for Benatar's axiological asymmetry — here, the idea is to extract the axiological asymmetry argument into a dedicated page. This way, a more detailed presentation could be given. In addition, we could expand on the various responses others philosophers made and counters from Benatar. Other pages could have a brief description and link to the details page.

I hope at least some of this will spark your interest! Fantastiera (talk) 21:48, 7 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

The judge rotenberger school legitimately has been condenned by the UN, now, whether it has a place in the article for canton is up for debate, but no, that one is in canton, and is a school known for alleged torture. - a local.
