GE Power edit request

edit

Hi Tom! As you have likely noticed, User:Spintendo has declined your edit request relating to the GE Power English Wikipedia article. If you have yet to see the points brought up by the reviewer, I encourage you to at Talk:GE Power#Changes to GE Power page for 2018. In relation to citing reliable secondary sources, I recommend visiting GE Energy on Google News and GE Power on Google News. That being said, please refrain from using posts tagged as press releases if possible. Cheers, Daylen (talk) 22:28, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Daylen - thanks for this feedback. Can your clarify - how do I respond to User:Spintendo's comments/suggested changes on the Talk page for GE Power? Do I simply go back into editing the original wording I put into the Talk page and erase his comments (so there is clean, updated text for review), or is there a way to directly address? I'm not too familiar with how this works for Talk pages so please advise...i don't want to erase Spintendo's comments but I do want to address them. What's the best approach to clearly show the updated text I'd like Spintendo to review? Thanks! TomatGEPower (talk) 17:26, 29 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
If you are completely rewritting your initial request, I would recommend doing that at the bottom on the thread. If you are making minor changes, I would recommend editing your initial text while keeping the comments intact. You may also wish to bold the changes you have made if you go with the latter option. When you are ready to resubmit the request, remove |D after {{request edit at the top of the section, which will reopen the ticket. If you have any other questions, please list them below. Have a nice day! Daylen (talk) 02:38, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
