ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Tom Morris. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Edit to Trenzalore

"His_Tory" is associated with the information contained in the article Trenzalore. Not letting the public have access to this true record will have unforeseen consequences. I have let a few oceans pass under a few bridges in hopes that you would reconsider your stance. My name has changed and I will not be using this account again. I hope you make the right decision, else another one bites the dust. Jerrydeanrsmith (talk) 19:02, 30 November 2016 (UTC) ---Jeri Dean Yzmith

I closed the AfD in exactly the correct way. The DRV also endorsed my closure as correct. If you believe that the material deleted from Trenzalore has some lasting value for the encyclopedia, I'd suggest the best place to discuss it is probably to post on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Doctor Who as they are likely to be able to guide your efforts in the correct manner. I'm afraid I'm not going to reverse my decision; it is up to the community of people who edit Doctor Who material to decide, according to their agreed practices and the wider standards of Wikipedia, what the correct editorial direction (including sourcing etc.) of Doctor Who related articles is. —Tom Morris (talk) 20:50, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
