- Since you are new here, I think you should know that you can comment or !vote on the WP:AFD. Before you do, you might want to look at WP:GNG, WP:Before, WP:Preserve and WP:PROD, along with the pages that deal with notability of corporations. You started the article, so you might want to put in your Two cents. While the AFD process is not precisely democratic, and does not necessarily count !votes, it is a component of the decision making. So your voice could help. Cheers. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 19:31, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

editHello Tobeck20. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Tobeck20. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Tobeck20|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 15:35, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm new to Wikipedia and hope I do this response in the proper way. I don't receive or expect to receive any compensation for the creation of articles or edits on Wikipedia. I own an Electra bicycle and I read the article about the Electra Bicycle Company and founders here on Wikipedia. I also noticed that many other bicycle companies have Wikipedia pages, but not the venture the Electra founder started since. Since Benno Bänziger is a true visionary and designer of many innovative bicycles that are sold worldwide, I wanted to write a Wikipedia article about him (there isn't one, surprisingly), but after some citation research I started with his business venture first. I modeled the summary I wrote after other Wikipedia articles from the same bicycle category/industry. I don't know when an entrepreneur and his inventions/patents/products reach the level of Wikipedia "Notability". I'm still learning and will do my best to meet the Wikipedia guidelines.Tobeck20 (talk) 18:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
