File permission problem with File:Shurtape Hickory Headquarters.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Shurtape Hickory Headquarters.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 19:16, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Email has been sent out with the requested permissions. Thanks, Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) (talk) 20:12, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

File:Logo Shurtape Technologies.jpg

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Disambiguation link notification for May 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Duct tape, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Manco (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:09, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

This is one of the very few times I have ever improved and accepted a paid article. The firm is in the real world extremely important; the article fills a major gap, especially because of the unusual nature of the company's formation. Please continue to maintain it. If you still have a coi with them, confine your updates to the article page to obvious updates; ask for anything else at the talk page. Again as an exception, you may ask me directly, as I generally do not respond to coi edit requests; I may do somefurther editing myself if I get the chance. , DGG ( talk ) 23:06, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
DGG, I really appreciate this on a personal level. I'm not actively working on this project with them anymore, but I did spend a lot of time trying to get this right and was baffled it got excluded given the wide sourcing on the matter; I don't accept projects unless I feel they actually add something to the project, so it was kind of odd to see it dismissed out of hand so quickly, with so little comment. I'll definitely be monitoring it in my capacity as a private user and will disclose if I am back in some sort of relationship with them in the future. HenryTemplo you didn't actually give any specific, actionable feedback here. Are the sources lacking? What specific portions are problematic? More than happy to make any specific corrections or take suggestions, but your reasoning hasn't really given anything to go off of here. Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) (talk) 20:01, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
I understand you might be busy, HenryTemplo, but your message did suggest you’d be willing to offer assistance. If you aren’t, please let me know. Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) (talk) 04:29, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
Oops, sorry @Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) for not responding to your first message! So, as it stood when I reviewed it, the draft read a lot like an advert, with phrases like "specializing" and a lot of infomation about the company's operational area and services, something that usually raises red flags when I review drafts. It's not completely an advert, otherwise I would of nominated it for speedy deletion under G11, so the draft can still be improved. The best advice I can give is state in the article what independent, secondary, reliable sources have said about the company, not what the company has said themselves or in reproduced press releases. Happy editing! HenryTemplo (talk) 06:31, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Hey S0091, thank you for the feedback here. I've found a number of sources I hope qualify here that I'll be adding to the draft shortly. Would you be willing to review the page again after I do? Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) (talk) 21:18, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
I think its best for another reviewer to take a look but I suggest placing a note on the draft's talk page with the three best sources that show the subject meets notability (see WP:THREE for guidance) as that will help the next reviewer. If you are affiliated on any way with company you need to declare your conflict of interest. S0091 (talk) 21:23, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
Of course; COI was declared on the talk page for the draft, but I'll do so on the talk as well. Toa Nidhiki05 (Work) (talk) 13:47, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
