Welcome!

Hello, Tn pillai, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. Regarding Nadar (caste), please note that tagging this for speedy deletion was inadvisable because the normal procedure for unauthenticated claims is to get the article editors to verify them; if this fails, then take it to AFD. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. It appears you edited somebody else's user page, which is usually not very welcome. Please don't do this. Thank you. Natalie 13:28, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I apparently gave you the wrong message. You edited someone else's talk page comment, which is generally frowned upon, even if you disagree with what they say. If this user has been uncivil or has made personal attacks then there are steps that can be taken. However, if you merely disagree with him/her politically you'll have to deal with it. Wikipedia is not censored to protect people's feelings.
You may also wish to pursue one of the steps of dispute resolution. If you have evidence that the user has been abusing multiple accounts, you can either file a suspected sock puppet report or a checkuser report. This may confirm or deny your suspicions. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have. Natalie 09:25, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ezhava

Could you please add some more information at our admin noticeboard? That way, the largest number of people know what is going on. Also, I noticed that you had a issue with the deletion of List of Notable Ezhavas. The reason it was deleted was that it was discussed both at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Ezhavas and at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Ezhava Tharavads and decided to redirect back to Ezhava. The problem was that there was no source for any names (other than Kumaran Asan) on that list. If you disagree with why that article was deleted, I suggest following our procedures and bring it up at Wikipedia:Deletion review or do what I asked everyone to do months ago and find sources for people. List of Nairs which is also badly sourced was discussed numerous times. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 05:09, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

See here for all the Nair discussions. I will say this once and want to make this absolutely clear. Do not simply call other people biased and insult them. You need to assume good faith or you are violating our policy on civility. Continuing to act in that manner will get you blocked. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 05:11, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I've seen your prostitution allegations raised every time someone doesn't get what they want and frankly, they been ignored for months (and for good reason). Everything needs to be verifiable but nobody is out to delete those individuals. If you want them deleted, I'll show you where to suggest it. Again, I don't understand how the massive hostility. I don't have control over the universe of articles (if it was decided that lists of Ezhavas need to be put back into the main article and not lists of Nairs for some reason, I have to follow the community decisions). Again, if you want to suggest that List of Nairs be deleted or that List of Ezhavas not be, I'll show you how. Frankly, threatening to have hundreds of users come here, complain, threatening to call in officials, all that just makes you all look unreasonable and will simply make it so that none of you can edit here. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Also, if you guys are serious about getting officials involved, I would suggest that you contact the Foundation for the most effect. There is a email address at the bottom of this page which should help. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
