Talk:Detian - Ban Gioc Falls edit

Detian - Ban Gioc Falls are 2 waterfalls though sometimes they become one. --虞海 (Yú Hǎi) (talk) 10:39, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I don't know what you meant by "sometimes they become one". But in Vietnamese, there is only one name Ban Gioc for both parts. We don't call any of them "Duc Thien". Tmct (talk) 10:17, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
In rainy season, 2 waterfalls bacome one. In Chinese, there's two name refers to 2 waterfalls. --虞海 (Yú Hǎi) (talk) 14:27, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, that might be the way Chinese names are meant. But when you write "Ban Gioc" (not "Banyue"), you use the Vietnamese name, then you should use the meanings in Vietnamese. Should we add explanations of Chinese two names and Vietnamese one name to the article?
Also, both figures show both the larger and the smaller Ban Giocs, not just one of them, while, as you said, Banyue and Detian refer to only one of them. It's hard for those readers who are not familiar with the falls when the pictures mention only one of the falls while showing both.
In addition, there's is nothing inaccurate in "View from China" or "View from Vietnam", which you have deleted.
So, I'll change the text back.
