Speedy deletion of Travis hill

edit

A tag has been placed on Travis hill, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. FlyingToaster 00:28, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Portal:Contents/Categorical index/Culture and the arts, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sockpuppet case

edit

Thank you for contacting me, Tjhill. I believe you that you and Molaskysport are not the same person, and have added this to the sockpuppet case. It will likely be closed soon, and you will be welcome to make constructive edits here. However, please stop trying to add the Molasky article back. It's been decided it is not notable, and if you continue to try and fight for it you will likely be banned. Thanks. FlyingToaster 01:46, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability

edit

Whether or not a subject is notable is determined by these criteria. A good rule of thumb is that if a subject does not have reliable third-party sources that can be cited in the article, it probably is not notable. Please feel free to contact me if you any questions. Stop

edit

Tjhill, I'm warning you to stop leaving silly messages about Molasky on people's user talk pages. You will make people angry and probably get yourself banned if you continue. The burden of proof is yours for a new topic - no one is going to "contact you" and ask if a subject is notable. If you have a topic with legitimate citations and legitimate coverage, that is actually notable, it won't be deleted. Your sport does not qualify. If the reason Molasky is not notable still confuses you, then read these criteria instead of pointlessly arguing. FlyingToaster 02:09, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to User talk:Tjhill. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. FlyingToaster 02:16, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:43, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
