Expansion template

edit

It's true for almost all translated articles that they can be expanded, and the articles in other languages are easily reached. I don't know what the template for Gotteslob is meant to achieve, beside my bad conscience because I have procrastinated it for years. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:05, 26 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Omni Broadcasting Network

edit

I just did a writeup on the talk page of Omni Broadcasting Network as a possible hoax because I couldn't find any reliable information about it online. I checked the article history and was surprised that the creator was still active here. I don't think it was a hoax on your part - the website was real enough, and there's a smattering of sketchy supporting documentation I turned up - but I couldn't find any info on the FCC site or any reliable third-party sources. Without impugning the work you put into the page, do you remember what brought Omni Broadcasting Network to your attention in the first place? Tisnec (talk) 04:00, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tisnec,
Thanks for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! I've responded on the article's talk page, and am happy to fill out references to help bring the article to current standards. Firsfron of Ronchester 16:41, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Hi Tisnec! Thank you for your edits to 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Ukraine into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 19:11, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I got your message. I'll make a note in a new edit and be sure to attribute copied material in the future. Tisnec (talk) 19:48, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
