Welcome! edit

Hello, TinaMalti, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Tina Malti, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Editing article about yourself edit

Hello, it looks like you're editing the article about yourself. It is generally discouraged by the Wikipedia's guidelines. According to WP:AUTO#IFEXIST: "Contributing material or making suggestions on the article's talk page is considered proper—let independent editors write it into the article itself or approve it if you still want to make the changes yourself. It may help attract attention to your talk page request to include the {{request edit}} template as part of the request. In clear-cut cases, it is permissible to edit pages connected to yourself. So, you can revert vandalism; but of course it has to be simple, obvious vandalism and not a content dispute. Similarly, you should feel free to remove obviously mistaken facts about yourself, such as marital status, current employer, place of birth, and so on. (Note it on the talk page.) If the fact has different interpretations, others will edit it". Could you please follow this procedure? Thanks. Best, Tymon.r Do you have any questions? 01:06, 22 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Updates to Publications List edit

{{Request edit}}

Hello, thanks User:Tymon.r for explaining the process for suggesting edits. One thing that can be updated is the publications list, which can be edited to include Dr. Malti's more recent publications. These are listed on her website. Thank you! TinaMalti (talk) 02:00, 9 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Updates to External Links edit

{{Request edit}}

Hi there. It would be helpful to add a link to Dr. Malti's Google Scholar and Research Gate pages for the most up-to-date list of her citations[1]. Here are the links: https://scholar.google.ca/citations?user=jQ_E0H8AAAAJ&hl=en, https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Tina-Malti. Thank you! TinaMalti (talk) 23:38, 17 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Edits to Introductory Paragraph edit

{{Request edit}}

Hello! I would like to suggest edits to the introductory paragraphs of this page:

The first sentence describing Dr. Malti's as a poet is inaccurate as it is not one of the main focusses of her work [2]. I would suggest updating the sentence to read:

"Tina Malti is a German-Palestinian clinical and developmental psychologist."

In addition to serving as an associate editor of Child Development, Dr. Malti also serves on the Editorial Boards of Child Development [3], Psychological Review [4], and American Psychologist [5]. I would suggest modifying the last sentence of the introductory section to read:

"She is President-Elect of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD) and serves on the Editorial Boards of Child Development, Psychological Review, and American Psychologist."

Thanks for considering these edits! TinaMalti (talk) 20:38, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
