Deprodding of East Waynesville Baptist Church

edit

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from East Waynesville Baptist Church, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!

I see you have tried both the proposed deletion tag and articles for deletion mechanisms for this article. However, once the AfD process has been started, the {{prod}} tag is no longer appropriate: one process takes precedence over the other. Please don't re-add the proposed deletion tag. I've also tidied up the deletion submission somewhat, to try to bring it into compliance with procedure. As far as I can see, you don't seem to have given any reason for deletion that falls within the procedural rules: would you like to add one, if you have one, please? -- The Anome (talk) 18:59, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Timothywebb. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article East Waynesville Baptist Church, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Murph9000 (talk) 11:00, 1 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
