Nick Swardson's place of birth

edit

Hello Timmyo101,

I noticed you entered Minneapolis–Saint Paul as Swardson's place of birth in the infobox in his article and I have reverted your edit. Minneapolis–Saint Paul are actually twin cities and so one can't technically be born in both. There also seems to be some contention as to whether he was born in Minneapolis or Saint Paul. The lack of a reference to Nick Swardson's place of birth in his Wikipedia article is addressed on the article's talk page here.

As per Wikipedia's guidelines regarding biographies of living persons: Contentious material about living persons (or recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. However, if you can find one or more reliable sources for his city of birth, feel free to add the city's name to both the infobox and body of the article with a citation. If you need help on formatting your citation, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page and I'll help you with what I can.

Cheers! --Marchijespeak/peek 00:14, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for long term disruption. After months (years?) of IP hopping to evade blocks and continue disruption, I gave you the benefit of the doubt here that you may be able to reign in your disruption and complete disregard for concerns that are raised regarding your editing, however you continue unabated. Nearly every single one of your edits violates the Manual of Style for infoboxes and you continue to violate Wikipedia's policy on verifiability and reliable sourcing. The amount of time it takes others to review each of your edits, clean up, and then explain why your edits are incorrect is overwhelming.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
