==Please don't add so many external links in the article text==

Some of the links you added to Tennessee (film) seem to have gone against our guidlines on external links and advertising. If an actor doesn't have an article here it is generally not a good idea to just link externally to their IMDB profile in the main article. Also having multiple links to the producer's website probably won't go over too well. Please take some time to review the policies and guidelines here. Thanks!--Isotope23 16:06, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Lee daniels photo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Lee daniels photo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:09, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Tennessee edit

If you are talking about the "Starring" section with a castlist, I didn't touch that section. I basically just removed the trivia section (per our guidelines at WP:TRIV) as well as the large amount of external linking that was in the main article text. I also removed a couple of other sections and links that didn't meet WP:V and WP:EL guidelines. If you are interested you can click on the history tab to see who actually made that change...
IMDB seems to be a fairly acceptable source around here. That doesn't mean I agree with it... my personal opinion is that it is shite when it comes to accuracy on anything that has not already hit the theater. Wikipedia works on the concept of verfiability and not truth though. If you want to reorder the cast list, by all means feel free. If there is someone who is not actually in the movie, I'd say you can be WP:BOLD and remove them. I'd stay away from adding cast to the list though unless it has been reported by a WP:RS. I'm guessing you have inside knowledge here, but you are correct when you ascertained that information here has to be verifiable by another website or publication and that publication should be a 3rd party if at all possible due to conflict of interest concerns. Honestly though I'm fairly certain a castlist based on the production company's website isn't going to prove to be too controversial. Just be aware that we have a neutral point of view policy here which may run counter to your stated job (and please note, I'm not accusing you of violating this, I'm just pointing it out in case you were not aware of it). If you have any further questions, feel freee to ask.--Isotope23 21:43, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

It actually appears those changes were done by Terrence235 (talk · contribs), and my guess is it was from IMDB. I reverted back to the earlier castlist.--Isotope23 21:48, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
