Speedy deletion nomination of Samantha Fisher edit

A tag has been placed on Samantha Fisher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. November 2009 edit

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:MuffledThud. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. MuffledThud (talk) 11:44, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Personal attacks edit

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at User talk:MuffledThud, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. - Kingpin13 (talk) 08:00, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

We won't block you, just so long as you don't continue to attack or threaten other editors :). Thank you for apologising, although I'd suggest you say sorry to MuffledThud rather then me. Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 06:15, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

re: Article creation edit

Hello Tiffany Rafter. Article creation can be a lot more fun then your previous experience, firstly you need to think of a good topic for an article. As I see above, a number of the articles you created have been deleted. This was done because you topic you choose didn't seem to be important/significant. To avoid this, pick a topic which is widely recognised (i.e. not a friend, but a celebrity), and preferable that has multiple published sources about it (such as newspapers, books, magazines). These sources also need to be reliable. Having them will also prevent user's from thinking the article fails our notability guidelines.
Once you have your topic and sources, begin writing a new page, so long as Wikipedia doesn't already have a page for it (you can always expand our current one). Make sure you follow the WP:MOS; Give a brief overview of the subject in the introduction, or "lead". Then create a level 2 headline (do this by placing two equal signs on either side of the title of the section like ==re:Article creation==, which is what I used for the header up above). Directly beneath this header, place the text you want to go in this section, for example, place biographical information under a level 2 heading called "Biography". Make sure you stay on topic. Then add your references under a "references" section.
I hope all of that helps, and don't hesitate to ask me about a specific detail. You could also try using our article creation wizard. If you do so, then again, feel free to ask me about anything :). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 09:02, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your comment on my talk page edit

Hi! I'm a little confused by your comment on my talk page ("how should i know?"). What do you mean by that, exactly? --Michael Kourlastalkcontribs 13:12, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
