I am afraid I have deleted the article Stereotech you have created and nominated the image Image:Stereotech.jpg for deletion from the Commons, since it was an article about a musician that in no way explained how the person was notable or significant. Please have a look at the inclusion (notability) guidelines for musicians and musical ensembles if you want to know just about what is an appropriate subject for Wikipedia. • If "not much is publically known" about the artist, and he "has been getting popular" (i.e. is not very popular yet), this seems to be an indication that they probably shouldn't have an article on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is meant to be an encyclopedia, which is a compendiu of existing knowledge, not a means of making something known. The primary notability criterion is: did the subject of the article attact non-trivial coverage from reliable third-party sources? For musicians, there are also specific incllusion (notability) guidelines, which add other supplementary criteria: for example, a band is notable if it had received a major award such as Grammy, has released at least two albums on a major (including the more important indie) label, or conducted an international (or national, if it attracted non-trivial coverage) tour. Stereotech has made none of these achivements (he has only one self-released album, perhaps just on the Internet), so I am afraid he doesn't meet the inclusion criteria. (If you disagree with my judgement, you can challenge it at deletion review.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:50, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
