Rhapsody, your idea of getting Yvonne or one of the very earliest quilt artist's images is excellent. There may be questions of copyright, of course.
Eventually a gallery of photos of prominent quilt artist's work would be really useful, as would a list of prominent quilt artists. These should not be SAQA linked because we shouldn't have that bias on Wikipedia. We must remember that this is a public site open to all.
I added prominent early contributors to the field as well as exhibits from the 1970s. These are from Shaw's book, The Art Quilt, which I don't have. I used the SAQA excerpt, but I think we ought to reference the original. I have the McMorris The Art Quilt book, which I intend to use to supplement the Shaw. I also have Art Quilts: A Celebration, the QN collection through 2005, with Shaw's intro.
