References edit

Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Graham87 13:51, 29 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Thomas, I didn't remove your reference from Apitherapy; that was Alexbrn. However I did notice it on my watchlist, where I discovered your addition of a reference to the Huperzine A article, which I removed. The main difference between your reference on apitherapy and the existing one is that the latter was written by Steven Novella, a widely respected sceptic with his own widely listened-to podcast among other things, as you probably know. Please also see the conflict of interest guideline about adding links to your own work. Graham87 08:39, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I didn't link you to the most relevant page for your situation, which would be this part of the external links guideline, which says in part that "you should avoid linking to a site that you own, maintain, or represent ...". What I said about the notability of Stephen Novella came from point 11 of the list of links normally to be avoided. I've going to archive my talk page now because it's three months since the last time I did that, so if you'd like to reply to me, create a new section. Graham87 06:45, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
