December 2008 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Air cycle machine. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Unusual? Quite TalkQu 14:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have been notified that I am blocked for spamming. I was attempting to enter information to a subject in which I am extremely well qulified. I am not well qualified using Wikipedia. Please explain if there is a method of adding illustrations to a subject without using links. I have no interest in using the subject matter as a link to my website but I would like to contribute some information that I feel is of value. Can I insert an illustration directly to the page?
