Speedy deletion nomination of Priya Singh Paul edit

Hello Thinking.guru,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Priya Singh Paul for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Priya Singh Paul, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Sjö (talk) 11:45, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Priya Singh Paul, you may be blocked from editing. The problem is not the link, the problem is that the article seems to be a copy of content found elsewhere. Fix that instead of removing the speedy deletion tag.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at Priya Singh Paul. Sjö (talk) 11:56, 21 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Speedy deletion nomination of Priya Singh Paul edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Priya Singh Paul, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Priya Singh Paul. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Regarding the linked article itself, Ms Priya Singh did not actually have to blank her website; she could have released the content under a compatible license (I'm not familiar with the procedure though). However, the tone and content of the article was very promotional, with phrases such as "transcending barriers of field and profession with ease and unprecedented success". You will need to rewrite it to conform to Wikipedia's neutrality policy (WP:NPOV) before it is accepted here. Also, your messages show that you have a conflict of interest, so I suggest that you read WP:COI before deciding if you would expend the effort in rewriting the article.
