Conclusion

My apologies for nipping that thread in the bud on the discussion page - it seemed that we were hashing over ground that had already been settled. The idea that someone like Jencks and Phillips would need more secondary references than they already had was found to be akin to the Pioneer Fund folk requiring non-Pioneer Fund folk as secondary sources. It is clear that Pioneer Fund criticism belongs on the page, and as untasteful as it may be, Pioneer Fund based research also should figure prominently on the page (just as opinion though, not unadulterated fact). I appreciate your contributions and attention to the page, but I think the argument shouldn't be about "pioneer fund == evil so it should be redacted", but "pioneer fund criticism should be taken seriously, and pioneer fund research should be appropriately presented as opinion not fact". Anyway, sorry if removing the comment seemed out of line. I'll place it on the archive page ASAP to preserve it. --JereKrischel 06:12, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
