Allen Organ comments

The user in mention has been removing all mention of Allen Organ in wiki, wherever possible. His reasons for editing, such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organ_(music) include comments such as "Far too much about Allen organs, overemphasis on not-very-influential brand." and "Allen not very well known.". That same page overemphasizes another brand name, Hammond. So, I feel that my mention that this editor is basing their edits on bias are founded. They seem to have an animosity to the company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dc cogitate (talkcontribs) 17:27, 21 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi There!

If you could please suggest some sources that will be accepted that would be helpful - there are literally hundreds of sources - from Image Wire, Getty Images, network sites like Nickelodeon, AMC and Disney. As well there are many references on other wikipedia fan pages for The Killing, Splitting Adam, MechX4 and Supernatural.

I did provide references from an AMC interview on the AMC official Network site as well as a CBS news article that features several pictures of Seth Isaac Johnson.

Below are just a few quick references I have just searched as I am writing...

Seth Isaac Johnson was in 26 episodes of The Killing - The plot at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_8_(The_Killing) starts with Seth Isaac Johnson's character.

http://www.peacearchnews.com/news/young-south-surrey-actor-gets-hollywood-attention/

LA premier of the Killing featured in the Vancouver Sun http://www.vancouversun.com/Actors+Seth+Isaac+Johnson+Evan+Bird+arrive+Killing+Season+Angeles+Premiere+ArcLight+Cinemas+March+2012+Hollywood+California/6367190/story.html

The draft can certainly be improved upon, and hopefully will be over time, but I am not clear about what is still required to get it going.

I find there are more credible references in this draft than many pages I have since looked at to compare to.

I also do not understand how IMDB is not a credible reference as it is vetted independently by the staff against production records.

Please advise.

Any of the above sources would be better than imdb which is user generated and not considered reliable for Wikipedia. Pleas also see WP:GNG Wikipedia requires in depth coverage in multiple sources to establish notability. Theroadislong (talk) 08:16, 22 October 2017 (UTC)

Richard...

I reported both, but got this response: here I quit for the night. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:42, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Gabrielle Blunt.

Please stop vandalising the page of Gabrielle Blunt. She died on 10th June 2014 and not on any other date, including on the date you continue to add. The Stage source is wrong. If you check this out properly, you can see that the death had already been announced in the June, so it is actually impossible she died in the August.

I would be very happy to change this for you, BUT you have never supplied a source? and now you are blocked for sock puppetry again. Theroadislong (talk) 09:21, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
Please assume good faith, removing unreferenced content is NOT vandalism. I have found a book [1]which gives the date of death as 30 June 2014, so I have changed it to this in the article. The only source for 10th June is IMDb which is not a reliable source. Theroadislong (talk) 14:35, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

No. The Stage has updated its page after I telephoned them with a complaint that it was wrong (6th August). It now shows the correct date of death: 10th June. 84.226.15.121 (talk) 08:50, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

and why are YOU a reliable source for her death???? Theroadislong (talk) 09:00, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Not only am I in the industry, I am also close to the people concerned. And in this case I knew this actress personally as well. Please just leave the flipping date of death alone. She died on 10th June. I wish she didn't, but she did. All other sources stating 30th June and 6th August are wrong and are simply copying other sites which are wrong. 84.226.15.121 (talk) 09:05, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

I changed the date of death inline with your reference, you are now edit warring to remove it????? Theroadislong (talk) 09:50, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Many thanks for reverting that delightful gentleman on my talkpage last night! Yunshui  07:51, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

Dear Wikipedia I noted the warning you have placed on the article 'Phillip Leo', first of all, this is NOT an infringement of copyright because the 'Islandah Radio biography' was given to them by myself, and I was not aware they were going to put this up on their site. The owner was very kind and supporting to the artist Phillip Leo and put his biography up on their website as a supporting gesture. To say that the artist is not notable is crazy because all you have to do is put the name into google search and you will see this artist has been in his profession over 30 years now. I can't help feeling a little unfairness is occurring here, I would appreciate if you could be a little more supportive to article creators, instead of the constant criticism of notability. I do understand there are guidelines to wikipedia entries and I will do my best to keep to them. May I request that you do not delete the article as I have now explained why the 'Islandah biography is very similar.

Thank you

PEP

The content on https://islandahradio.com/biography/ clearly states "Copyright Islandah Radio, All Rights Reserved 2013" at the bottom of the page. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Theroadislong (talk) 06:52, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi Theroadislong, so you will see this user and I assume their IP address has got into an edit war about this information as well as they keep removing the deletion tab. I have reported them here. They have also been explained here why it appears the copyright information shows on the other website first. I don't want to keep reverting them at this stage and was just going to let the Admin report sort it out. NZFC(talk) 02:32, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

Carlile Transportation article

How is it promotional in tone? Also, it is notable. Four seasons as part of a major television series... I guess you've never watched Ice Road Truckers?184.166.187.64 (talk) 14:54, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Sentences like “Over the next 24 years, they established themselves as one of the premier transport companies for oil exploration” and “earning international recognition beyond their service areas.” are extremely promotional. Theroadislong (talk) 14:57, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Did you read it in context with the next paragraph? That 30% carriage of Prudhoe cargo doesn't come without a lot of hard work, on the part of management and the drivers, to establish a base of trust with clients as well as their own support network. If you hold that standard, you could say that about EVERY company article here!184.166.187.64 (talk) 17:41, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

It's not my standard, it is Wikipedias standard, if you link to any other articles that use that language I will tag them also. Please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view This policy is non-negotiable, and the principles upon which it is based cannot be superseded by other policies or guidelines, nor by editor consensus. Theroadislong (talk) 17:50, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

So? If you find that somehow wrong, comment out the "offending" language or rewrite it.184.166.187.64 (talk) 18:26, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Your re-write still uses the exact same promotional language and is not supported by the sources. Theroadislong (talk) 18:45, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Did you even read the source I addd in the rewrite?184.166.187.64 (talk)

Yes. If you want a second opinion I suggest you ask at the Wikipedia:Teahouse. Theroadislong (talk) 18:55, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Draft:Polar Industries

I have two independent reliable sources. That qualifies as multiple.184.166.187.64 (talk) 18:23, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

The first is merely a listing and not in-depth, the second one is excellent, if you could find three or four more like that. Theroadislong (talk) 18:27, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

I've only been able to find two, but both go further in depth.184.166.187.64 (talk) 19:18, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Great...I'll leave it for another reviewer to decide. Theroadislong (talk) 19:23, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Copied and pasted?

Dear Theroadislong

Again I will state to you this article was not copied from this website, I am the original writer of this article (which is now under CC license also). Don't mean to sound rude but instead of constantly commenting on copying and pasting, I would however be grateful for some constructive advice on how to really improve this article.

Thank you

PEP

Please add reliable independent sources your content has no references, you may have written the original content but it still needs a source. Theroadislong (talk) 21:09, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

You are still not signing your posts, I removed the content because the source was content copied from Wikipedia by the BBC and Wikipedia is not a reliable source. Theroadislong (talk) 21:23, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Editing of the page krishna

Please give me the reasons as to why you considered the changes I made to the page krishna on Wikipedia as not being neutral. My views are purely based on ancient scriptures without any bias, the most considerable being the Bhagwad Geeta.

You added " He is the unborn, begginingless and infinite supreme lord who is both the origin and the dissolution of this cosmic manifestation. His form is both presented and unpresented. The five elements ie. air, water, Earth, fire and sky are his manifestations. He is the father and the mother of this universe. Like the mighty wind is always present in the sky, all created beings rest upon him. Although as the supreme lord, he is everywhere and everything rests upon him but he is not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for his self is the source of all creation." instead of the simpler neutral "a major deity in Hinduism. He is worshiped as the eighth avatar of the god Vishnu and also as the supreme God in his own right" please discuss on the article's talk page if you think it needs to change. Hi I'm contacting you third time truing to find out reason why gromel snowboards article was denied May you please write me an explanation why it it happen.

As the decline reason says at Draft:Gromel snowboards the submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Further improvements

Hello Theroadislong... I'd like to work with you to improve SOCO International's Wiki page, get the facts out there and legitimize the page/remove the tags. I will not directly edit the page again since I am a COI editor and do have a 'close connection' with the subject. Nevertheless, I would like to help present the facts about SOCO's activities while adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines. In order to remove the promotional content I suggest removing the following three sentences, but please let me know what needs to happen to further improve the page and I would be happy to assist: -- "In 2016 it was reported that SOCO had indicated that with low cost production, no debt and its disciplined approach to capital allocation, the company was in a good position to weather a prolonged industry downturn." --"Looking ahead, the company said it plans to produce 10,000 to 11,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day in 2016 This doesn't included potentially higher output scenarios from its TGT field in Vietnam." --"The start of production was achieved more than a month ahead of schedule, SOCO said, and the H5 wellhead platform development was completed with zero lost time accidents." I look forward to hearing from you, SOCOrep — Preceding unsigned comment added by SOCOrep (talkcontribs) SOCOrep (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

'This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability'.

As my draft submission says, I was the CASWO. I am filling in the missing information between my predecessor and my successor . I am open to suggestions on how I can increase or prove my 'notability'. I would have thought my notability can be proved by my award of the MBE, and I have referenced that?

Merin Gregory is a well known playback singer n malayalam movie winner who was the title winner of idea star singer. She is even listed in Imdb aswell. Link : http://www.imdb.com/name/nm8720964/

She had sang many superhit songs in malayalam.

Sir, Sajna Najam is a popular choreographer at South India in Kerala. Information of a good choreographer like this deserves to be included in this encyclopedia and is an important part of Malayalam cinema industry. In Wikipedia pages for Movies section the name of Choreographer has no space for inputting. That's why it seems to be missing. If else it would have been added. And she is similar to another popular choreographer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kala_(choreographer)

Please include this information about Sajna Najam and pls avoid any situation of deleting it from data base as many people will surely look for these details.

Detailed information about it has been mentioned at many sites as follows.

As a contributor to Wikipedia, I feel that the article meets all the requirements of a Wikipedia article particularly neutrality and notability.

There are no opinions or promotional statements in the article. On the contrary, it provides a holistic picture of an organisation in the Power electronic sector in India. I have revised the article once again.

Kindly advise ways in which I can improve this article, as I have feel the article is objective and only enlightens a reader of an Indian organisation in the power quality space.

I'm asking for re reviewing this page based on the fact that I'm the first person in Russia who made snowboard and Gromel snowboard is the first company in Russia who made snowboards on commercial bases from 1988 till 1993 when company was sold. This information based on 4 patent's of innovation (numbers attached) several magazine articles (attached) internet publications (attached) I have provided many links proving that fact Currently I'm the only company in Ohio making boards.

Why articles about Donec snowboards K2 snowboards exist in Wekipedia but Gromel snowboards where denied????

Ser sorry for being Lille bit ruff in conversation But your almost immediate review made me little bit worried! I have question Once you reviewed the article about Gromel snowboards did you pay attention on paragraph 7

7 Patents From 1988 to 1995 Ostatnigrosh and Melnikov registered four snurfer and snowboard patents. Aleksey Ostanigrosh holds Russian Patents, #1391670 (link 17), dated 04/30/1988, #1584971 (link 18), #1584972 (link 19) dated 8/15/1990. Aleksey Ostanigrosh and Alexei Melnikov hold Russian Patents #2030196 (link 20) dated 03/10/1995 Ser. Did you had the chance to look at these patents? I do not know if you have enough knowledge of Russian language or you need some translation? Any way here is short translation for you, just in case. This paragraph has numbers for different 4 patents two of them I have for snurfer modifications One for invention of rotating snowboard bindings and last one me and my Friend Aleksey Melnikov for snowdoard production technology our patents are first in USSR-RUSSIA for that king sporting goods You are welcome to do a search if you want. We have an priority on them. It is proven by patent date and patent numbers I bed you know how it works. Ser it is not some publication in news paper or some links in Internet social media it is an official State Documents with dates and numbers These patents are holding our position as first people who made snowboard in USSR-RUSSIA and create first Snowboard production company in USSR-RUSSIA If you want to proof it wrong , go for it!

Hi Theroadislong, Could you please help me to delete this page that I created https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Alireza_Kazemipour. Actually the farsi page was available and I tried to create English version but I couldn't find resources. There is another user who has created the exsiting Frasi page, he will create the English page. So I prefer just delete one I have built, then that would be easier for him. Would you please delete this draft page or let me know how can I do that? Regards Solmaz

Deletion

Hi, I see you marked my page for deletion. It would help if you said why, rather than waste my time. I've got a decade of experience in the area of kettlebells and trying to contribute, but just deleting stuff doesn't help or anyone else. What is the user page for if not for what I posted? I'm trying to keep it short without advertising, just displaying the reason why my edits and contributions are valuable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taco fleur (talkcontribs) 08:23, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Taco fleur, an editor's user page is a place to tell about themselves, sure, but it's not a place to promote oneself. If I had to guess it would be the "missions" part of your userpage that is the issue, because it sounds like you're trying to sell something (even if you aren't). Primefac (talk) 11:25, 2 November 2017 (UTC) (talk page stalker)
(talk page stalker) @Taco fleur: quite. it definitely has a social media/webhost/nothing to do with editing wikipedia feel to it. You could look at our user pages for a better idea of content. Wikipedia:User page design center has information that can help you design a user page.
For your information, Taco fleur offers $100 on this website for a recreation of the deleted page. --Shev123 (talk) 17:53, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

FYI: Taco Fleur has to offer money to people to help him understand what it is that Wikipedia EXACTLY wants to see, because he spends hours genuinely setting something up, which then gets deleted at the push of a button. While better content could be achieved if the person deleting stuff actually opens his eyes and looks a bit deeper, asks questions, communicates. Take my personal profile for example, I had no mention of brands, just my experience and what I wanted to do on wikipedia to help, which I understand is exactly what it needs to say, but still not good enough. Do I need to write a special tone that I just don't have??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taco fleur (talkcontribs) 19:11, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

It would be easier for Taco fleur to just request it be undeleted so they can remove the garbage. Or simply recreate it from scratch; it's just a userpage. Primefac (talk) 18:23, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Taco fleur, I think you'll find that most of the comments here have had indications of what you could do to improve the page. Primefac (talk) 19:22, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

I give up. Spend hours trying to get it to where it's suitable and someone just deleted it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taco fleur (talkcontribs) 19:32, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

This is not a re-review just a question. You recently reviewed the page Draft:BredaPhoto and your feedback on notability, reliability and objectivity was very helpful. Thanks for this! The BredaPhoto event is an international event both in terms of participating photographers and in terms of visitors. BredaPhoto is also mentioned in multiple English language Wikipedia articles about the city of Breda. For both reasons, I was asked to write an English language page on the history of BredaPhoto and the next event. I'm a volunteer for BredaPhoto and I've declared a possible COI on the talk page. I fully understand the requirement to refer to independent sources of information to confirm notabilty and reliabilty. There are independent sources (newspaper and magazine articles) for this page but most - if not all - are in Dutch. BredaPhoto is a more important topic to cover in the Netherlands than in the 'international' countries. So my question is: would Dutch language sources be valid as references for an English language Wikipedia page? If you could point me to a page where this question has already been answered, that would be fine too. I've not found an answer so far. Mike

Whilst English language references would be ideal, there is nothing to stop you using Dutch ones as long as they are reliable and independent. Theroadislong (talk) 16:23, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

You rejected my submission commenting that too many of the references point to the company's own website. I have added additional references in the External links section, but should those instead be worked into the post content?

Yes please... Wikipedia has essentially no interest in anything said or published by Bubbies Fine Foods. It is only interested in what people who have no connection with them have chosen to publish about them: the article should be limited to a summary of what such independent sources have said about them. Theroadislong (talk) 22:30, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi! Please provide some further explanation regarding an edit you made to Afran Nisho.

I'm afraid that I didn't quite get why you removed the list of appearances in Afran Nisho. I'm guessing that it was because of a lack of sources. Relevant talk page section.--Ilikerainandstorms (talk) 12:37, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

I did explain in the edit summary. I removed the large list of appearances because it was unreferenced, I kept the few that were referenced even though they are not notable appearances. Theroadislong (talk) 12:43, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
Thank you!--Ilikerainandstorms (talk) 09:21, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Draft: Liam Goligher

You gave me a number of suggestions which I am working on. I apologize, but I am used to writing for business (Fortune 500 companies, for example) where one has to make things interesting, so my style was off. I have cut it down as you suggested.

It will take time to address some, because I have not yet figured out how to deal with them. How do I save my work. My only option seems to be RESUBMIT and I know it is not yet ready.

1. Surely the NY Times is not the only kind of news outlet of significance. It may depend on the field. In this case, Christianity Today is the most significant news outlet, with tens of millions of readers in both print and online and many more browsers, of course. In psychology it would be something else. There is one major citation from that news outlet. Dr. Goligher has kicked off probably the biggest Debate within conservative American Christianity in at least 60 years. Hardly insignificant.

Wikipedia requires indepth coverage in multiple reliable sources.Theroadislong (talk) 10
05, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

2. I am having trouble with a photo of Dr. Goligher. We were provided a current photo from his church, as I would think is appropriate. Apparently they put a copyright on it. How do we get around that?

We don't get around that, either take a photograph yourself and upload it or leave the article without one. Theroadislong (talk) 10:05, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

3. Many of the links are, as you noted to other Wiki articles. Dr. Goligher has connections with dozens of people and organizations which already have Wiki pages. In addition to citations, there seem to be links based on phrases and keywords which change color when a person runs the cursor over them. Dozens of my citations can be replaced by those. How does one do that?

This has been shown to you on the draft article. Theroadislong (talk) 10:05, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

4. How does one deal with bound copies of sets of CDs and MP3 which do not have ISBN numbers? These are as important teaching tools as his books, I would guess even more so. At just one major conference of a major Christian denomination, 600 people grabbed up the first set. Much important information is now being shared orally, via such sets.

5. I hear that there is software that takes the ISBN number and creates the entry for books. Do I have to do that, or does it happen automatically?

As you can see. I am not ready to resubmit, but I am working on it. So how do I save my work?

When you are in edit mode there is a large blue save changes button click it. Theroadislong (talk) 10:05, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Thank you in advance for any help. M-Lee-T (talk) 04:06, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Please accept my apology, I did not mean to include soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia. Would you please show me examples of these being included, so I know not to include them in my edits again. Thank you

Ok thank you, I will add references to the article.

For example "a creative performance and painting artist with a unique style of work combining performance, painting and music" and " has drawn international acclaim for her provocative, powerful and bold works." and "Amos’ dramatic work is her understanding of the human condition, a response to the world around her and with an underlying narrative of her life and experiences." are promotional and not neutral tone and unreferenced. Theroadislong (talk) 14:47, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

I talked to the reviewer. The problem is that Liam Goligher practices Christian humility to a fault. He suggested that we create a 'stub' of what we can verify and get that much out there. I think that is appropriate. More sources will come forward, I expect. He is too much in the limelight. I'll follow the reviewer's guidance. M-Lee-T (talk) 18:55, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello, The person who's page i'm editing is my voice teacher. She is an 84 year old woman, and has contributed much to the music world in her life. Unfortunately, she is a modest person, and did not request much of her work published. I have gathered from her newspaper clippings (some in hebrew and some in english), photos, and attributions from famous musicians and conductors. All I wanted was for her to have a page on Wikipedia in her life time, but i just can't seem to get the editing right, and my page edit keeps being declined. I would much appreciate a guideline to what kind of improvements my edit could have? I have linked other sites where she is referenced. I have attached newspaper clipping mentioning her. I've added pictured of her playing in an opera. I even added some of her work to youtube! She is already mentions in some page on this site (her students' pages), but her page is still declined.

Please advice.

The reference [3] is a good one. The photographs of newspaper cuttings are possibly useful if you know the date and title of the newspaper then they can also be used as a source. Any other newspaper articles would also help. Youtube is not considered a reliable source I'm afraid. Just find some more reliable sources. Please realise though that as you know her you have a conflict of interest. Theroadislong (talk) 21:30, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
Please NEVER copy and paste content from other pages though as you did from here [4] Theroadislong (talk) 21:34, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong. I wrote this message on the talk page of the problematic editor after their latest revert. Within minutes, they blanked their whole talk page. Humph! I'm kind of assuming that if there weren't a significant COI, they wouldn't have done that. I'll keep an eye on the article and if they keep up the shenanigans and refuse to discuss on the talk page, I may take this to the COI Noticeboard. Hi there :)! You reverted my edit a while ago in this article. I'm not going to edit war over something so tiny but I would like to point out that humans are apes descended from monkeys. Disruptive Editing

Hi,

I work at Verve Records, specifically in the digital marketing department, and we have decided to switch the introduction paragraph to what I had edited based on the current state of our label. I would not consider this "disruptive editing," and if there are any problems please feel free to email me at nick.martinelli@umusic.com or megan.mark@umusic.com.

Nick — Preceding unsigned comment added by MeganMarkVerveLabelGroup (talkcontribs) 20:43, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Wikipedia has essentially no interest in anything you want to say about your company. It is only interested in what people who have no connection with them have chosen to publish about them. Sentences like “holds the world’s richest jazz catalogue and features seminal recordings from legendary artists” and “ recently expanded to scope newer artists while also keeping true to its roots” are just marketing puffery and certainly not acceptable in an encyclopaedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 20:50, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Agilsoft

I have taken out more pitchy comments and added some additional links to justify my claims. As a private company in a relatively small and emerging area, third party evaluations such as PC Magazine have been linked. However, there is less evaluation and third party content than with more traditional links. I have reduced the bios of the team as well. I would point out that roughly 2/3rds of the links are to non-Agiloft links. I merely pointed to Agiloft to justify claims they were making, which seem reasonable to me, e.g. pricing, money back guarantee, etc.

Please let me know if you have additional objections. I will fix them.

Alistair Davidson — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alistairdavidson (talkcontribs) 00:03, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

As another reviewer has commented your draft Draft:Agilsoft Reads more like a press release, than a formal, neutral article. Linked in is never a good source and Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference. The list of customers sourced to their own website needs to go as does the list of resellers and the team section none of this belongs in an encyclopaedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theroadislong (talkcontribs) 10:04, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello, could you please provide more details on what you would like to see on improvements? The awards are national and sponsored by international banks (Lloyd’s Bank), national newspapers (Telegraph) and reliable sources (Richtopia, Rise Global & Business Insider). The notability is also via entrepreneurial success and as a figurehead of public-interest brands, the subject represents the leader for notable names in music etc and is cited in related WP pages (without link to this subject, as this page does not currently exist). Public like to have access to details of these leaders and is seen widely on WP, and would link from related articles.

Sources are broad and include primary and secondary from national newspapers (broadsheet, tabloid) and national magazines and well respected business sources. Also from the likes of BT and Virgin.

It would be prudent to understand how you would like to see the article develop before approving it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikidocs (talkcontribs) 16:13, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

None of the awards are notable in Wikipedia terms i.e. they don't have their own articles yet. Theroadislong (talk) 16:37, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
Ok, but another reviewer has just contradicted this by saying whether something else has an article or not is irrelevant? Still not sure on what you want me to do to improve it, as it’s not just about the awards and you’ve failed to address my other questions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikidocs (talkcontribs) 16:49, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
I have removed a lot of puffery and non neutral tone content, so it's easier to see what we have left. I think it still needs some more reliable sources which aren't local press release types or interviews and if you have a connection with the article's subject you should declare it on your user page. Theroadislong (talk) 17:58, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your input and help. I’ve no connection other than being a fan of one of his artists signed to Jigsaw Records (which why I’ve got an interest in his background which I think should be shared publicly). I’ll try and find more sources and add them in. Wikidocs (talk) 18:12, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
I’ve now added in several further sources from various origins, along with some further relevant information which I found on the way. Hopefully, you will now agree there are sufficient sources and that the article can be approved? Thank you for your help with editing it too, really appriciate it.Wikidocs (talk) 18:27, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
re:Theroadislong More edits have been made and an image added from Wiki Commons which was on file. Look forward to hearing your views on the additional sources. Hopefully this is now acceptable? Wikidocs (talk) 23:49, 13 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I tried to make a penny rolls article with my friend as a cry for help. You denied it and I was wondering if you could make an article possible because we are inexperienced and uninformed about penny rolls/their measurements. Also, did you read the whole article? I know you probably forgot ours because you probably look at a ton of these, but I'm just curious. As I said in it, we are in Science Olympiad and we are aiming to win gold in our state for a hovercraft. The hovercraft needs to carry penny rolls, so we need measurements before we are able to actually design/build it. We cannot drive yet and unfortunately don't have any rolls in either of our houses. We tried asking my parents, but they went to the store the day before and don't want to go until next week. We have other events to work on and would like to finish our design and testing before we work on our other build event. With that being said, I would prefer we design and plan our hovercraft, with measurements, before my parents go to the store again. Thanks! I'm not sure if you actually will be helpful with our penny roll crisis, but replying and trying to help us out is great! -K, 9th grade Science Olympiad participant — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.202.139.57 (talk) 01:06, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Help with a company entry (Pendo)

Hi Theroadislong, Thanks for reviewing my intro for Pendo Draft:Pendo. I understand that you didn't feel that the article met the criteria for a company page, but I would love to get more feedback on how I might improve it. I did a bunch of research on what's acceptable prior to writing and submitting, but mostly what I found most helpful was looking at comparable pages on Wikipedia and try to use them as templates. For example, I looked at SimilarWeb and Walkme. Granted, my draft was shorter than these examples, but I really tried to keep it as neutral as possible so as not to get too marketing-like.

Would love to hear from you how you think I can improve the draft in light of these thoughts.

Thanks, Hillameller (talk)hillameller —Preceding undated comment added 09:48, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

I have removed blatant promotional puffery from your draft, the fact that you don't see it is precisely why people with conflicts of interest are not encouraged to create articles about their own companies. My advice would be to wait until someone unconnected with the company does it for you. Theroadislong (talk) 10:02, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Chris Ross is not mentioned here [5] or here [6] this source [7] is Youtube and not reliable, this source [8] is Linked in and not reliable, this source [9] is a passing mention we need multiple in depth coverage of Chris Ross to establish notability.
