A welcome from Sango123

Hello, Therealhrw, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

Space elevator

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. First of all, I didn't 'ruin' the article on the space elevator, I reverted your edit to it. You brazenly added a block of text, ignoring wiki layout and style guidelines, and without first discussing your edit on Talk. Even if your edit had merit, you should have formatted it properly, and shouldn't have simply added disconnected text to the article. Secondly, wikimail is usually reserved as a last resort, not an alternative to a user's talk page. Please feel free to edit, but mind the encyclopedic style and grammar. Just adding your thought on a subject is wrong, discussing your views on the article, and encorporating improvements is right. -- Ec5618 00:58, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Re: How To Copy

edit

Hi, Therealhrw. If you wish to copy the contents of a page, simply click the edit this page tab, highlight the text you want, right click, select Cut, go to the page where you would like to paste the chosen text, right click, and select Paste. If this is not what you had in mind, then could you please clarify your question here? Thanks. And by the way, I can assure you that I'm a real person, not a bot. :) For an example of a bot, see User:Sandbot. Happy new year, Sango123 (talk) 17:44, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
