Regarding Violence against women edit

Hi. I'd like to ask you to stop creating "Violence against men" articles and changing the name of Violence against women. Yes, the same acts are committed against men, and yes that's a legitimate issue. Thing is, it's not a legitimate name for an article since they've never been referred to as "violence against men" in the way they're referred to as "violence against women". In fact, rape, domestic violence, stalking, even when committed against by women against men get collectively referred to as "violence against women". That is fact. "Violence against women" has become the name for all rape, all domestic violence, all relationship-based stalking, etc. - and I encourage you to find and cite some published authors who've criticized that fact and to put that criticism in a section of the "Violence against women" article. I'd be willing to help write that section, even, if you point me in the direction of some source material. I know the term's not gender-neutral, and I admit the article doesn't do a great job of explaining that when the violent act is violence against men, it's still an act of Violence Against Women. But please, stop trying to fix those problems by changing every appearance of "women" to "men and women" and by copying the article wholesale but changing "women" to "men". The term is what it is, and the article needs to reflect that. I think the POV problem you're claiming to fix doesn't exist (or at least not to the extent and in the manner you think it does); but worse, I know you're leaving original research. Stop talking a load of Rubbish Literate Engineer, if an act of Violence Against Men happens and the victim is male, it wouldnt be classed as 'Violence against Women' it would be 'Violence Against Men' Stop talking absolute garbage, you are obviously some type of feminist. unisex edit

Regarding your edits to the intro the Brassiere article, please let's have a reasoned discussion about it on the Talk:Brassiere page. I honestly can't think of a less unisex garment than the brassiere. It's not that i have anything against men or boys who wear bras, but i can't see them being any more unisex than anything else. Just because something is uunisex, even if it were 50:50 male:female rather than >100,000:1, it doesn't mean the first sentence needs to say so. Can you cite an article in a notable source which describes bras as unisex, or are you presenting original research? Spute 18:27, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Could you confirm in some way that you are authorized to upload Image:Pageboy-morning-wear-5.jpg to Wikipedia? I found the same image online, and was wondering if that was perhaps your website. -- nae'blis 21:06, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Boysplatformtrainers.JPG edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Boysplatformtrainers.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:50, 15 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mosmof (talk) 23:50, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
