Hi, thanks for your edit. Do you have a reference for that, and anything else on the page? The article does need expansion too. I'm sure he has zillions of publications that could form the basis of a brief resumé. If you don't know how to insert a ref on WP, please put it on the talk page and I'll do it. Theodore, I think I've fixed it. There are a number of mark-ups for referencing (it's a dog's breakfast); I've chosen the simplest. I hope you'll be staying around to improve/expand articles. What are your chosen themes? Let me know if you need any assistance. Tony (talk) 03:14, 31 March 2014 (UTC) PS But if the ref applies to his current appointments too, you might wish to merge that sentence into the previous para, and shift the ref-tag to after "Australia". Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Garvan Institute of Medical Research, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page St Vincent's Hospital. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to the the Garvan Insitute page. Please don't forget the Wikipedia good practice of leaving a brief description of changes made > Help:Edit summary Alpalfour (talk) 01:12, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edit Summaries

edit

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.--220 of Borg 15:47, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
