Please be aware that Wikipedia articles tend to use the spellings of the English dialect appropriate to the article subject, or that established by the original author of the article if there is no obvious preference. Hence, William Wilberforce is written in British English, so "travelled", "disorganisation" and "recognised" are correct usage. See WP:ENGVAR for more details.
