About Melanie Martinez pages..

edit

So seeing you are a big Melanie fan, as am i, I want to edit/make pages too. Being mainly a Charli XCX fan, I edit her pages a lot. She has 2 singles that don't have pages so i decided to make them. They kept repeatedly getting deleted. I found out there is this thing called WP:NSONGS in which some pages can be chosen for deletion if they don't follow these guidelines for singles and songs. I don't want to delete any of your pages for Melanies singles, but some wiki editors may do so, considering none of your pages of her songs contain any significant chart performance, has won an award, or has been including in notable media. Pretty much all of her song pages may be deleted except Carousel, considering its her only song that has charted or has been included in media (american horror story for example). i am going to try my best to make sure they dont get deleted, cause it sucks when it does cause you work so hard on it :( yeah, sorry for my long paragraph but i felt you needed to know this information Heres a link to all of Melanies charted songs in the US that can have pages i believe: Click this

UPDATE: I fixed and cleaned up Carousel so it should be perfectly fine Xenonkiwi111 (talk) 01:56, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Soap and Sippycup

edit

I wouldn't have gotten rid of the page if you added citations and sourced it. there were no sources. And promo singles can still have music videos.

UPDATE: You're welcome for Carousel!! I'm working on Pity Party now :) To add citations/sources, click the button that says Cite your sources: <ref.> </ref> right under the editing part of the page but above the edit summary. Insert the url of the page(source) you have inbetween the refs. For pictures, Here is a link but to upload, your account needs to be verified which basically means that you have to make more than 10 edits on your account and your account needs to be at least 5 days old. (if i am correct). It'll give you a message if you can't. When uploading pictures, i make album/single covers 300x300 and png file. Heres a picture editor And you need to license the photo or it will be deleted in 7 days. the only thing you have to do to license it is to list it as 'fair use' but you can just copy and paste everything from this page File:Melanie martinez carousel single cover.png, but make sure you change some things to the new article you are putting the photo into. Hope i helped :) Xenonkiwi111 (talk) 20:06, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Ray of Light. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. —IB [ Poke ] 09:43, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Ray of Light. —IB [ Poke ] 18:35, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Ray of Light shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —IB [ Poke ] 23:20, 4 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

How Big Tour

edit

I reverted your changes to this page back to the redirect. The content you added is incomplete and completely unreferenced. Please review Wikipedia's citation and identification of reliable sources guidelines before changing the article again. This tour, unless notable, usually won't require its own page (especially if it's only a current event or if the tour was not notable enough to have its own article). Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:58, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
