Fair use rationale for Image:Gray Fullbuster.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Gray Fullbuster.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image copyright problem with Image:Happy(Fairy Tail).jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Happy(Fairy Tail).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 22:43, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Strong lazy edit

A tag has been placed on Strong lazy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

non-notable neologism

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vgranucci 07:12, 15 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

December 2007 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Warning edit

Please stop undoing my edits on Chao Lingshen. Even Cjh1k2004 (talk · contribs) reverted your attempt to undid my last edit. Please leave the caption on the image at that article alone! He even said that fact or not, Chao's armor form being similar to Chun Li's isn't vital. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:05, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: Before you undo another edit, please say your qualms first to the article talk page. Don't do anything more stupid because there's also a thing as a 3RR violation. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:54, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Yuu Kanda edit

A tag has been placed on Yuu Kanda requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Gromlakh (talk) 21:16, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

D.Gray-man characters edit

As practically all the D.Gray-man character articles don't meet WP:FICT or assert any notability whatsoever, I'm merging them back into List of Black Order members. For these characters to have articles, they would have to receive significant coverage from reliable verifiable sources independent of the topic, which none of them do, and frankly is very difficult considering that there isn't a lot of media in English. You're free to disagree, but I can speak from long experience that they won't survive at AfD. Merging them now avoids the drama. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 23:34, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:NoahFamily-1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:NoahFamily-1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:38, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use images on List of Black Order members edit

The extra images in the list are a violation of our fair use policy and are purely decorative, making them unacceptable per WP:NFCC. Especially with the large group image, there's no viable reasoning you can have for using the additional images. Please do not put the images back, or it may be construed as disruptive editing. Non-free use disputed for Image:Noah_Family.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Noah_Family.jpg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.)

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 05:22, 23 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
