Damone

edit

I have reverted your replacement of most of the text of Damone with a copyright-violating pasting of the content of the Damone biography from Island Records. It doesn't matter if you "represent the band damone in it entirety" [sic], you cannot used copyrighted material in a Wikipedia article without an explicit statement from the copyright holder website (IslandRecords.com) that it may be used under one of several "free" licenses, like GFDL or Creative Commons.

Furthermore, if you indeed represent the band, you are likely in violation of Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Please review that policy page to understand how careful editors associated with a subject must be to work on such material. Thank you for your cooperation. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 08:14, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your second warning to stop replacing Wikipedia-written content by copyrighted material at the claimed request of a company involved in the subject, violating both Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Copyrights. If you continue to do this, I will request that your account be blocked from editing. Please read the cited policies to understand why what you are doing is not acceptable at Wikipedia. Thank you for your cooperation. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 00:40, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:41JXZ63T4DL. AA240 .jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:41JXZ63T4DL. AA240 .jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:41JXZ63T4DL. AA240 .jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:12, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
