Elizabeth II

I may have to leave the disccusion about that article's intro. I'm feeling indirectly threatened, about my past :( GoodDay (talk) 05:11, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know, I haven't flipped my beanie. United Kingdom and the 15 other... is still my first choice, but I just felt that the "16"ers willingness to accept the UK in the lead, was mighty big of them. Therefore, I decided to reach across the devide & accept the listing of the other 15 countries. GoodDay (talk) 00:01, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

If we go down that road, would it not be better to say the sovereign is "Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada...and Nevis and Saint Kitts?" That way we avoid the mixed tenses and distinction between Old (White) and New Commonwealth? TFD (talk) 00:10, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
That's a tricky description. Is it a white/non-white devide, or a 4 oldest/the rest devide. It would be so much easier, if her reigns began at the same time. You're free to impliment those tweaks if you wish. The worst that could happen is that they'd be reverted or tweaked further. At least we won't have this problem of where to divide/if to divid, when Charlie becomes King. GoodDay (talk) 00:34, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
Why must we distinguish between the first four independent states and the others? As Keith Azopardi explains, "But as long as Gibraltar does not opt to become a Republic and would retain Her Majesty as Head of State of an independent Gibraltar, she would continue to be the Queen of Gibraltar as much after independence as she was before independence."[1] It seems some editors want to article to sceam out THE QUEEN IS JUST AS MUCH QUEEN OF CANADA AS ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Yes, the push against "Queen of the United Kingdom and 15..." by atleast two individuals, was (IMHO) always about promoting Canada into the intro. But, what could've been done about it? The Rfc would've continued on for week after week. I just grew tired of the continous struggle. The only way "UK+15" could've been adopted, would be with the barring of Mies & Trackatte from the article. GoodDay (talk) 01:44, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
