Bosnian war edit

Hi. Seeing you have done a lot of work on the article about the Bosnian war, you should know that the page has been protected since Osli73 have insisted that he's version of the article should be the one that is. I have reverted he's attempts considering he deleted entire sections and changed sourced numbers without any or little support. All changes is in its way pro-serbian. Considering you have contributed to the article and have had disputes with this user before i suggest we try to get an block or in worst case an agreement with Osli73. --Nirvana77 (talk) 09:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am interested in creating article which will write about creation of war atmosphere in Serbia before start of wars in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia. Saying that in different way I am interested in process of indoctrination during period 1983 - 1991. Without that indoctrination war has not been possible. Because my english is not very good I need editorial help of other users. Are you interested in that sort of article ? --Rjecina (talk) 11:12, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fairview360 removed the userbox, and he has also removed the fact that over 400 children died in Srebrenica genocide (see here). He wants sources, and I gave him sources on your behalf. Grandy Grandy edit

On the Bosnian Genocide page Grandy Grandy clearly reverted four times within 24 hours, there is no direct evidence that Osli73 did the same. He may or may not of used an IP address I do not know. But also please see User talk:Grandy Grandy#Bosnian Genocide 3RR and Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Edit war over multiple articles. I suggest that you ask at the second link that someone does an IP check to see if Grandy Grandy accusation is correct. --Philip Baird Shearer (talk) 13:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

TDoB please read [WP:3RR]] as GG is an experienced editor who has already been warned about the policy, there is no reason why GG needs to be warned for a breach in the 3RR policy particularly if it is such a clear a blatant breach with identical reverts (sometimes with many editors and partial reverts it is more complicated and in such cases I use a warning). Also if on looking through the history of GG's page, I had not found any previous warnings I would have placed a warning on GG's talk page. --Philip Baird Shearer (talk) 16:55, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Darko Trifunovic edit

I have reverted a recent edit you made to the article Darko Trifunovic. As I explained in my edit summary, there are two reasons for doing so. Firstly, the claim that the report that Trifunovic has written "was rejected as scandalous by the international courts" is unsourced. Unsourced negative comments about a living person need to be removed, in accordance with WP:BLP. Secondly, the article is about Darko Trifunovic, not about the International Strategic Studies Association. There is also a third point, that I didn't mention in the edit summary. Saying that the use of the word "alleged" in the 2003 ISSA special report constitutes a denial of a genocide having taking place in Srebrenica, is original research and a misrepresentation of the source. Expanded scope edit

There is a request to expand the scope of the informal mediation for Bosnian Mujahideen to include the articles: Mujahideen, Al Qaeda, War in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and The role of foreign fighters in the Bosnian war. This would be limited to content regarding Bosnian Islamic fighters. This could be helpful in resolving the content disagreement that reaches across multiple articles. However, please be aware that a solution for any particular article may not be a viable solution for all articles involved. Do you agree to the expanded scope? Vassyana (talk) 23:49, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Broader mediation has been rejected at the current time. I will be nominating Bosnian Mujahideen for deletion as a neutral party. This is based on the concerns of some editors that the title is a neologism and that the article itself inherently violates NPOV and no original research. This will allow the community to consider those concerns. We can move forward after the AfD, based on its results. Vassyana (talk) 16:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Darko Trifunovic: Press Release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina edit

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the decision on suspension of Darko Trifunović, who has worked at the MFA BiH since 2 April 2001, performing diplomatic function - the First Secretary at BiH Mission to UN. In accordance with the rules of service, Trifunović will be deprived from BiH diplomatic passport and he will be unable to obtain a travel document for his return to BiH, since it is about the man who falsified BiH citizenship.

Following the conclusion of BiH Council of Ministers to review citizenship of all employees in state service bodies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH asked from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Communications of BiH to review the way in which Trifunović gained BiH citizenship in 1996.

By the review, it was established that Trifunović cancelled his registration on 27 March 1996 from the register of residence in Belgrade, where he was born, and on the same date he registered in Brčko. According to the fictive residence, he obtained ID card of BiH on the same date.

Since the procedure of the issuance of ID card was illegal, Police Service in Brčko District cancelled residence and BiH ID card, Decision dated 25 February 2002.

On the basis of these facts, Ministry of Civil Affairs and Communications of BiH, in accordance with legal procedure deprived Trifunović from BiH citizenship. Results of several months' investigation as well as documentation that prove the conclusions will be submitted to the competent prosecutor's office that will adopt decision on possible criminal charge and judicial prosecution against Darko Trifunović.

Please edit

Please open a discussion and seek agreement before undertaking a major title change to Bosnian mujahideen. It is a contentious and controversial topic, and (in such circumstances) unilateral moves will only serve to rile people up and cause disruption. Also, please stay polite and focus your comments on the content instead of other editors. Thanks. Vassyana (talk) 16:50, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Soapboxing on Darko Trifunović edit

Regarding this edit to the article Darko Trifunović: please stop saying that Trifunović has worked for "the State Secretary for War Crimes of Republika Srpska entity for Terrorism and Violence". There has been no such State Secretary and no such entity. Wikipedia is not a soapbox for your personal opinions. AecisBrievenbus 12:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for a week edit

This account is violating Wikipedia biographical article policy and is acting as a single purpose account trying to bring external disputes into Wikipedia. These are unacceptable behaviors.

Specifically because of the recent edits on Darko Trifunović this account is blocked from editing for a week. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 20:33, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
As you can see I didn't break any rule. I even removed the disputed sentence [1] according to ecis. I was never blocked earlier, and I haven't done any vandalism earlier. My intention was to bring the references back into the article, and to include removed part. Nothing else. Regards. The Dragon of Bosnia (talk) 20:40, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just want to say that your action wasn't fair, because if you have two different sides in the dispute, you should block both sides, not just one. The other side is Osli73 who vandalized Wikipedia so many times before (Bosnian War - keeps deleting the whole section of the article, and noone cares). You should review his edits as well, or just look at his block log. The Dragon of Bosnia (talk) 20:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

references on the Srebrenica page edit

Hi Dragon,

Please refer to the talk page if you have issues with the 'alternative references' section. Deleting it wholesale without reference to any discussion isn't really acceptable given the history of that article.

That aside, how are you anyway? I haven't been on here for the better part of a year -- took a long break. Don't think I'll be on here much again, either -- too exhausting! :-)

AfD nomination of Serb propaganda in the Yugoslav wars edit

An editor has nominated Serb propaganda in the Yugoslav wars, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Serb propaganda in the Yugoslav wars (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:59, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
