I thought they were construtive? As it shows that Carillion are useless. This has been established as fact by an article in the Daily Mail - see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-388329/Proof-road-workers-hardly-work-all.htmlThe Bald Ego (talk) 13:46, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Using Wikipedia edit

Please learn how to use Wikipedia before you start using it as your personal blog. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and articles must contain facts, not opinion, must be seen to be balanced and uncontroversial, and have a neutral point of view. Which is why I tagged your edit POV, as it was your Point Of View, (or that of the Daily Mail.) The talk page is there to discuss what is on the article page, not what you may have read somewhere in a newspaper. There are plenty of on-line forums where you can have a rant. Wikipedia is not that place. ♦ Jongleur100 talk 14:03, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Adam Brown (actor) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adam Brown (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Terrillja talk 14:48, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

November 2010 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Terrillja talk 14:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
