Do I know you?

I don't think we've ever met. I don't recall seeing you at any Mannix conventions. The Albino Alligator (talk) 15:06, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Coincidence, then. I noticed you contributing to a couple obscure pages that had recently come up on another list. PhGustaf (talk) 23:04, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Dial 'N' for Nerder. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Ctjf83Talk 01:02, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Dial 'N' for Nerder. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ctjf83Talk 01:08, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's still unsourced, I don't make the rules. I also wasn't jumping down your throat, I used templates that are as nice as possible. Ctjf83Talk 01:10, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

It has a {{fact}} tag, if you want to readd your stuff, and put that tag, then it's fine. Ctjf83Talk 01:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Dial 'N' for Nerder. Will (talk) 01:15, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please don't vandalize, in case you don't know, the episode itself is used as a source for what happens. The Dominator (talk) 01:16, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's not what Ctjf83 says. He says I'm not allowed to put in stuff that happened in the episode. The Albino Alligator (talk) 01:17, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
No, you are obviously disrupting to make a point, you know there is a difference Ctjf83Talk 01:18, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
You're disruptively adding 20 {{fact}} tags to an episode which is just airing/aired. That's not improving my any stretch of the imagination. Will (talk) 01:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
You're allowed to say "this happened" and use the episode as a source, you're not allowed to say "this references this" without a source. In fact, I'm OK with you adding that stuff in, but add a {{fact}} to it, it's not a bad thing that the tag is there, it justs encourages other editors to find sources. The Dominator (talk) 01:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why is everyone picking on me? I added information. Ctjf83 deleted it for no reason, even after I added cites. He said it was because I didn't have a fact tag, even though my information was no different than the stuff in the article that didn't have a fact tag. The Albino Alligator (talk) 01:20, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, we aren't picking on you, and your "source" was a youtube video, which is hardly a valid reference. Ctjf83Talk 01:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) You did vandalize the article, even if you did think those things all needed independent claims, that's not the way the template is used. The Dominator (talk) 01:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I got a vandalism warning for adding accurate information. Ctjf83, who is actually vandalizing the article by deleting accurate information instead of adding whatever he thinks needs to be added if he doesn't like youtube, is harassing me. Forget it, I don't need this aggravation. I saw an episode of the Simpsons where they made a joke about a show from my childhood, I added that information because I wanted to improve the encyclopedia, and I get randomly templated, even though the information I added is no different than the information people are mad at me about adding fact tags to. The Albino Alligator (talk) 01:26, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
You got templated, like I template everyone who adds unsourced info...so I wasn't picking on you Ctjf83Talk 01:27, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Did you read the template? The template applies to "controversial edits." My edits weren't controversial. The Albino Alligator (talk) 01:29, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ya, but it applies to all unsourced edits Ctjf83Talk 01:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Did you read the rules you're citing? attribution is required for "direct quotes and for material that is challenged or likely to be challenged. Something freaking obvious doesn't require attribution. See WP:Citing sources. You had no business deleting correct information or templating me unless you had reason to believe it was wrong. The Albino Alligator (talk) 01:35, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
You want to stick to one page?! we are jumping all over the place for these posts. Well it isn't obvious to me, and I challenged it, so it requires a source. Also, don't go challenging the plot, cause that is disrupting to make a point. Ctjf83Talk 01:42, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please don't leave Wikipedia over something like this, we're just trying to make you understand. There is nothing that hurts me more than to see a possible good contributor leave over a misunderstanding like this. The Dominator (talk) 02:18, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
