4th revert edit

Congratulations on reverting Roger Federer 4 times in under 24 hours. You've earned yourself a block for violating the 3-revert rule. In the future please do not edit war. Discuss controversial issues on the talk page and come to consensus before making the changes. Thatcher 19:45, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • You and others are being very dishonest in describing Federer as "one of the greatest tennis players of all time." Federer has set and broken numerous records, and the most respected authorities of the sport, including Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, and Andre Agassi, have all described Federer as the greatest ever.

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
The duration of the block is 24 hours. Here are the reverts in question. William M. Connolley (talk) 22:06, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Templates edit

Hi mate, As you are involved in the tennis wikiproject I was wondering if you could do me a favour. If you get a chance, would you mind checking through the individual yearly templates that I have been creating for the WTA and ATP Tours. User:totalinarian has already had one look through some of them but it would be great to get a second opinion. I have tried a number of different editors but with little success. Each of the tournaments should be recorded in the templates by their sponsored name (if applicable) or "[Place Name] Open". The templates are located in Category:Men's tennis tour tournaments by season navbox templates and Category:WTA Tour tournaments by season templates. Thanks. 03md 13:56, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, my schedule is a little tight, but if there's any way I can help out, I will. TheTennisObserver (talk) 05:02, 21 June 2009 (UTC)TheTennisObserverReply
That's great. I am also currently in the process of trying to create full sets of tournament articles and your help would also be appreciated. 92.0.39.60 (talk) 16:33, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Start Box Discussion! edit

Hello, I was just wanting to give you a chance to weight into the conversation over start boxes, which the discussion is going on about the validity of them, and here's the link Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Tennis#Start_Boxes_Templates_for_Tennis_Player.3F TennisAuthority 18:18, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

TennisObserver? edit

You are wrong to present one side of the discussion at Roger Federer's talk page with quote because I found four experts that would disagree with this categorization!TennisAuthority 20:05, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

By all means, tell me who those 4 "experts" are, quote them, and offer a link. The issue at hand is whether "many experts consider Roger Federer the greatest tennis player of all time," and the answer is yes, many do. TheTennisObserver (talk) 21:08, 21 June 2009 (UTC)TheTennisObserverReply
I don't care anymore! TennisAuthority
Sorry you feel that way. TheTennisObserver (talk) 23:04, 21 June 2009 (UTC)TheTennisObserverReply
