Speedy deletion nomination of Samepage edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Samepage, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Orphaned non-free image File:KerioControlBubble.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:KerioControlBubble.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:09, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kerio Operator edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kerio Operator requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.kerio.com/support/kerio-operator/release-history-older. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Conflict of interest Noticeboard discussion edit

Hi, a quick note on a discussion Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Kerio_Technologies. K.e.coffman (talk) 01:26, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, TheKarpati. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Kerio Technologies, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Widefox; talk 06:18, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Widefox Thank you for pointing me to those descriptions/guidelines and explaining me the "problem". Much appreciated. My opinion is contributing to things I know well is better instead of contributing to things I am not familiar with, just for the sake of contributing to other articles and reduce the impression of COI. Am I wrong with this opinion? TheKarpati
You realise how many similar conversations I've had with other COI editors? It's much better if you continue discussion at COIN, and definitively answer if you have any connection (which is still an open question). Once disclosed, you can still edit you know?. WP:COIBIAS is also enlightening. Widefox; talk 06:51, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

November 2016 edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Widefox; talk 08:19, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Widefox For articles/editing articles there is a user signature in the history anyway, right? That's why the signature just needs to be added in comments, right!? TheKarpati 08:33, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kerio Connect‎. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please do not re-add external links that have been removed; pls see WP:ELNO K.e.coffman (talk) 17:00, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

  This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Kerio Technologies, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is just a promo account. See WP:NOTHERE Widefox; talk 08:45, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
