Thanks for your work! The reason that I rejected deleting it was that it didn't qualify for deletion for the reason that someone suggested: it was nominated for speedy deletion under criterion A7, but that criterion doesn't apply to buildings. Now that you've improved the article with several sources, it's much less likely to have someone attempt to delete it again.

Yes, there's no problem with leaving it in a partial format. It's not good to have articles in such a condition that we can't understand that they're significant; however, you've shown that it's important enough to have an encyclopedia article, so working at it piece-by-piece should be quite fine.
