The touchstone of a notable topic is having received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. I don't know that Bunnykill has, but you haven't cited any such sources in the article. Apropos here, "independent" sources means that people other than those involved in the topic have recognized the subject by writing about it. Thus far, you have cited bunnykill and its hosting grounds for your information. This is the opposite of independent sources. A second prong is that the sources cited must be reliable sources. A short excerpt from that page:

Articles should rely on reliable, third-party published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. This is fundamental to the encyclopedia's policies.

You'll note that there's overlap between this and what I've already said: "third party" has the same meaning as "independent". In any event, I do not think the web forums you have cited are "published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy" and are therefore not reliable. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable source examples for more on this. Also note that per our policy on verifiability, "If no reliable, third-party sources can be found for an article topic, Wikipedia should not have an article on it."

We have a separate notability subguideline specifically for dealing with web content: Wikipedia:Notability (web). It repeats the general notability standard I detailed above, and states further bases, such as that the "content has won a well-known and independent award from either a publication or organization." Winning Newgrounds Weekly User's Choice Award is not even close to this standard. It's neither a well known award, nor independent.

I hope you find this information useful, but at the moment this topic does not seem notable. It has been deleted 4 times by four separate admins (deletion log entry). When I deleted it last, it cited no sources whatever and claimed no importance. The version you have worked up here is less likely to be speedily deleted than previous versions as, at least it makes some assertion of importance, but even if not speedied, it will very likely be deleted after discussion at articles for deletion, where we discuss the suitability of topics on their merits, and attempt to reach consensus.

We also have a common AfD outcomes page—that is, a page which shows the typical result of deletion debates on certain subjects. Unlike other pages I have linked previously, this page does not suggest what you should do or what our policies are, but what actually happens in most cases when these policies are applied to specific content at deletion debates. Per that page:

Flash animations are generally not notable, unless they are extremely well-known.

After the above, I hope its clear what you need to do, but I'll say it anyway: go find independent sources which discuss Bunnykill in depth and cite them in the article. I suspect, however, that you will not be able to do that; that such sources do not exist, which means Wikipedia should not have an article on it.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 12:15, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
