Welcome! edit

Hello, TheDatim, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to take the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit The Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! --papageno (talk) 21:56, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help with recent edits edit

Thanks for your recent edits and comments at Amersfoort and Nieuwland, Amersfoort. It is great that you live in the latter part of town and that you want to contribute some knowledge about it. However, I can sense your frustration in not knowing how to start: Wikipedia (WP) can seem a little daunting at first.   Please take advantage of the resources listed in the "Welcome!" section above including the Teahouse. I would be happy to answer any question you might want to ask too. And realize: you can't learn everything in a day, so start small. For example, here are some tips on how to thread your comments on a talk page so other Wikipedians can follow along clearly. Another good resource: Wikipedia gives you a Sandbox that you can "play" in IE experiment with WP syntax without doing it in an actual live article. Hope this helps, and hope you decide to continue to contribute. --papageno (talk) 21:56, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
