Show preview on first edit

edit

I'm really enjoying the script. Thanks!

The one difficulty I'm encountering, is that it doesn't follow my preference for a disabled "Show preview on first edit" (mw-input-wppreviewonfirst). This is a problem if I want to revert an edit to a very long page - usually I click "undo", check the diff, write an edit summary, and then save. But the automatic live-preview makes this a bit more complicated, and it also hides the diff completely (after the page finishes loading). Any chance this could be worked around? :-) Quiddity (talk) 22:48, 11 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Troubleshooting

Can't get this to work—perhaps it has something to do with not having the side-by-side editor layout? Doesn't appear to be the fault of using Monobook instead of Vector. Not sure what error reporting I can provide here. czar 20:00, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Czar, you need to have the "Show previews without reloading the page" option in the Editing section of your preferences enabled as well. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 23:01, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@TheDJ, yep, I do and have had it enabled as long as I can remember. czar 23:03, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
