There's no reason to curse and no one to curse at, as in your edit summary at The Wire. That can get you blocked. If you're in an argument with someone, that's different, here that's gratuitous. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 11:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Employee of the Month (The Sopranos), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Russian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Lithuanian help needed edit

Hello TheBearPaw, I'm contacting you because we need some Lithuanian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on lt.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Lithuanian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 22:07, 5 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Use of quotation marks edit

Hey! I've noticed you've been using quotation marks around character names during every use, such as with Junior Soprano. While quotation marks are good for introducing the characters, in line with most articles it's not necessary for you to use the quotes every time, or else it just looks messy and hard to read. This especially applies when the nickname is the overwhelming common name, as it is with Junior (you wouldn't expect an article on President Carter to use quotes every time "Jimmy Carter" was used, would you?

Let me know if there's any issue. Thanks!--Yaksar (let's chat) 10:44, 23 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Alright, I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I just thought, since they are nicknames, they were supposed to always be in quotation marks. --TheBearPaw (talk) 09:33, 24 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Eh, it can depend, but usually when it's the most common name for someone, like Junior (Corrado), Bobby (Robert), or Tony (Anthony) it's safe to use it without quotations in most contexts. Happy holidays!--Yaksar (let's chat) 21:16, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit to Sopranos episode The Ride. edit

I re-edited the sentence again, this time to make more sense. The way it was made it seem as if two separate actions, one by Janice, and the other by Meadow, were being put into one sentence, which didn't read correctly (Sort of like the sentence "Stella, throw the baby out the windows some candy"). I edited it in the proper way this time and I'm sure the new edit will make more sense now. It clarifies what happened. Gabe1972 (talk) 04:28, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
