Welcome!

Hey there, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. Thats a whole lot of changes to History of Rome. Something you may find useful is the preview button underneath the edit box, it enable you to make a change, see what it looks like and then make the next change. This can be easier on the eyes for anyone looking at the edit history than lots of little ones. I actually decided to check out your user page because I saw your name on my watchlist and it made me laugh, then seeing as you are a new user and had such an empty talk page, I figured I would welcome you.

People who make a habit of welcoming newcomers tend to give them this list of links as "few good links":

Hope you find them useful, enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome – MrWeeble Talk Brit tv 18:43, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the information and welcome!
I hadn't orignally intended on editing but that article caught my interest (It's great!). But, I found myself stumbling over spelling & awkward sentence problems. So, I thought "well heck, I'll just fix them as I see them". That and being afraid of screwing up my first edits made me cautious. Now that I'm more comfortable with editing, I do multiple ones now.
I REALLY enjoy doing this and am nosing around to see where else I can help. I have found the area where help is requested so it'll be easy for me to find those articles.
I should add that I couldn't believe how excited I was to be able to make an edit on the Firefox page to prevent others from having problems with the Wikipedia extension when using Firefox 1.5. I feel really great about that. I've helped people online in USENET and web forums for over a decade but now I can do so in a centralized place instead of just aiming it at less than .0001% of the online community.
Thanks again for the newbie links and especially the welcome. It makes helping here a lot more meaningful and rewarding. -- That Guy, From That Show! 01:00, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Spelling errors

It behooves me to point out that the corrections you made to the page Fishing, which you called "spelling errors" were, with minor exception, not spelling errors at all. Please consult Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English and American and British English differences. Cheers, and thanks for your interest and input. Sorry about that. I'll be more careful in the future. Also, thanks for providing links about this issue.
