How Do I create a Page lie that Zombiepedia you have?

Page Creation

edit

To create a page, simply type the title of your choosing into the search box. Click GO. You will receive a message, "No page with that title exists,” under that there is an option to create a page with that name. Simple as that! Nookdog 21:26, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes

Howdy! Responding to your comment on my Talk page, you might be interested in Wikipedia:Userboxes. It has a comprehensive list of all the Userboxes around, as well as instructions on how to add them to your page. Enjoy :)

Please do not violate copyright as you did here. That came straight from that school's website and is a violation of copyright. ~ clearthought 22:10, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Source for Duke of Clarence drowning

edit

Howdy! On the talk page for Butt (unit) there is a request for a source regarding your edit about the Duke of Clarence drowning. Unfortunately, all that I could find is historical disagreement on whether or not George was actually drowned in a butt of Malmsey. But if you found a source that concretely shows it as historical fact, I'm all for that presentation. But for the sake of WP:V the article needs a source to back it up. Agne 05:05, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I Don't recall editing that part. I just reverted.--ThanosMadTitan23 05:10, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You reverted my change which established that the story was only traditional, it hasn't been established as fact. Your revision then seem to indicate that you believe it is historical fact. That is what I was requesting a source for--to back up your revision edit. Agne 05:18, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pine in Everglades

edit

Hi Thanos - the pine in the Everglades is Slash Pine (the southern variety Pinus elliottii var. densa), not Longleaf Pine, which only occurs down to a line from Sarasota to Orlando (thought I'd better let you know why I took out your contrib) - MPF 00:21, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh thanks, I really didn't know that thanks for the Info. I just wanted to contribute but thanks for the correct Info.--ThanosMadTitan23 00:52, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Young Soo Do

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Young Soo Do article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. ccscott 20:45, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Chaminadeprep.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Chaminadeprep.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

Dedication 2

edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Dedication 2, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. One-Above-All

edit

Please, could you possibly be willing to add your input on the One-Above-All deletion discussion? A user, by the name of MBelgrano, is trying to delete the article, and now its image, apparently mainly because he is upset that no one supported his proposal to merge the article with Fictional portrayals of God. I have myself made many points on the article, such as comparing it with other comic portrayal of a Supreme Being, but Belgrano avoids addressing many points I have made, ignores my direct pleas for him to possibly consider or at least compromise, compares the One-Above-All with Batman and the Ultimate version of George W. Bush, and mentions irrelevant issues to the article, such as atheism.

This user seems to have nominated many articles for deletion in the past, and what bothers me the most is that, from his own comments, he plans on removing the article now because he feels personally slighted that other users restored much of the content he removed some time ago, and that some apparently disagreed with his choice to have the article merged. Thus, while the article may indeed contain some original research, he is using that as more of an excuse to attempt to justify this than as an actual reason. He does it more to satisfy himself rather than as an effort to help improve Wikipedia.
The article was made in 2006, and has lasted to this day, with overall hundreds of users having edited it. And now, because of a single user's tag, it is about to be permanently deleted. Not a single other person has chosen to have this article deleted and every day, according to the logs, hundreds still view it. And, what is more, many articles and templates link to it; even other language Wikipedias have this article. Please at least consider offering your own input on this, my friend. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
