What qualifies as charter flights

I noticed you added a charter section for CYQB. While i agree with airlines like Hydro and Nolinor, that qualify as being charter airlines (i.e you cant book a flight on those aircraft without a private arrangement made with the airline beforehand), I'm wondering if Transat and Sunwing are truly operating charter flights to the Caribbean or the States, since most of those flights can be booked by yourself or I through the internet, therefore are scheduled in advance, and therefore are no different than an Air Canada or WestJet flight down south. Just because these airlines are known as "charter airlines", in my opinion, doesn't make (all) the flights they operate charter flights.

You're right, I just separated the charter airlines from the scheduled ones as I was just trying to put it in line with other airport articles I've seen. one-stop same plane direct service

I know the protocol is not to list direct services if it involves a stop at a hub. I agree 100%. Therefore, I have no problem removing YYC as a Westjet destination from the YQB page, but for the sake of consistency, that means i have to remove Brussels and Geneva from AC's destination list on the YYZ airport page as well, since both those cities are served with same plane one stop service via YUL (which is an AC hub). What do you think?

It is unanimous in all reviews for the tour, the show is a series of medleys albeit "Pleasure Principle", "That's The Way Love Goes", "I Get Lonely" and "Black Cat". This means that "All Nite" is a part of a medley. All of the sources are listed within the article itself. Your edits have been reverted for this reason. Metro Edmonton map

Based on your user name, I've presumed you created this map. It is a better looking map than the previous map. However, and I'm unsure you've noticed, it has resulted in the correct geographic coordinate points to appear in the incorrect locations within the various articles that link to this file. List of metropolitan areas in Canada

It's not random; 147 is exactly how many there are. There's no value in applying an arbitrary cutoff like "top 125" which would exclude the other 22 just for happening to fall below that arbitrary rank; as an encyclopedia we need to list however many there are to list, whether that's a "random" number or not. LRT station images

In reply to your comment in an edit summary at Stadium LRT Station, I checked out a few London Tube station articles. Many that I saw were of the station's front door, not of the used part of that station. Is that how you feel? I think that a train station platform is what makes it a train station. So when I went to take pictures that were needed around Edmonton, I took pictures of the platforms. I know that I am not a great photographer, none of my files have been featured, and some amazing images have been uploaded, cough, cough. I'm not trying to push my own images, I want an image that best represents each station at the top of each article. I hope you feel that same. 117Avenue (talk) 02:31, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

I fully realize WestJet does not place its code on Qantas flights, and as I indicated, it does not place its code on the other carriers listed such as BA or CX, however WestJet still considers them code share partners.[2] Alaska Airlines is the same way. Please note that an airline should be included as a codeshare partner only if the primary carrier places its code on services flown by the secondary one, according to WP:AIRLINE-CODESHARE. Kelly Ramsey Building

I don't care if you find an article calling it Enbridge Centre, Kelly Ramsey Tower, Kelly Ramsey building, or Kelly Ramsey Building. I saw the hole, Kelly Ramsey Building was demolished. What "you saw" is irrelevant, that's not how Wikipedia works. Provide a source that says they are two different buildings. The CBC source I quoted clearly states "The Enbridge Centre, formerly the Kelly Ramsey building, officially opened Thursday." Thankyoubaby (talk) 00:21, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

It also says the "tower incorporates the brickwork from the facades of the original Kelly and James Ramsey buildings". The Edmonton Journal says "the 28-storey tower was built on the site of the historic Kelly Ramsey Building", and that "the family name still inscribed on the new building." Global News says that "the old Kelly Ramsey Building was taken down, brick by brick," and that they "would later make up the new tower". CBC News says that "the building was demolished to make room for a planned 25-storey office tower." The Edmonton Sun says that "wrecking balls descended on the Kelly Ramsey block, making way for the city's second new office tower in 23 years." Enbridge Centre calls it "Edmonton’s first new Financial District Tower in 25 years." Skyscraper.com says construction started in 2013, Emporis says in 2014. It is clear that the old building was torn down, and that a new tower replaced it. No, a 28-storey tower could not have been built on top of a hundred year old brick building. If you would read my quotes again, the old brick facade was placed on the front of a new building. A new building of steel structure, with 5 stories underground, and a completely different floor plan on the main floor. You're not linking the new building to the old one, your're hiding a link to the old one, as a link to a 363 foot building completed in 2016. I don't think they are closely related, as a brick facade is not part of a building's structure, at all. 117Avenue (talk) 19:41, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Edit war and NTOUR

The AfD made it clear WP:NTOUR was not met. That was "Concert tours are probably notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. Such coverage might show notability in terms of artistic approach, financial success, relationship to audience, or other such terms. Sources that merely establish that a tour happened are not sufficient to demonstrate notability. Tours that cannot be sufficiently referenced in secondary sources should be covered in a section on the artist's page rather than creating a dedicated article. A tour that meets notability standards does not make all tours associated with that artist notable. Michael Jackson's 1988 Bad is an example of a notable concert tour." So until that makes it into the article, leave the tag. It's not worth going through an AfD so soon after it was closed as no consensus. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:43, 11 September 2017 (UTC)

Canadian North flights out of Edmonton

Hello!

Just replying to your revert of my edit] on Edmonton International Airport. I couldn't find a guideline on how to do destination lists, but the Edmonton-Yellowknife-Norman Wells-Inuvik and Edmonton-Yellowknife-Rankin Inlet-Iqaluit flights have keep the same flight numbers past Yellowknife and do not involve changes in aircraft (northbound passengers do not even have to get off the plane). These flights are generally listed as having all of their destinations (see YEG's departure list. Does the fact that it passes through a hub change this? Per point 7 on WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT, "avoid listing direct flights that contain a stop at a domestic hub". As Yellowknife is the hub for Canadian North, everything else shouldn't be included. Thankyoubaby (talk) 04:18, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
