Welcome! edit

Hello, Thank you very much wiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to take the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit The Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. April 2016 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Death of Prince. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. -- WV 02:27, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Specifically, please do not remove {{notavote}} and {{spa}} tags. For highly contentious deletion discussions, it's common to put such a header to remind people that a deletion discussion is not a vote and direct new users to relevant policies and guidelines. Single purpose account tags help others in the discussion recognize those who may know the content best or may not be fully aware of policies and guidelines due to relative newness. They are meant to improve discussion. You may also wish to read the talk page guidelines.
Also, on a related note, you may want to read the policy on edit warring as we both have reverted each other three times at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Death of Prince. Another revert (from either of us) in the next 24 hours there may result in a temporary block from editing.
Regardless of these warnings, I hope you continue to contribute to the encyclopedia. I saw the work you did at Kyle Hagel and it's a wonderful start to your editing career! Wikipedia is a learning process, and deletion discussions are highly contentious places with a lot of policies (and some heated tempers). You may want to edit in some less heated places to get your bearings, and in the mean time, read some of the resources that Winkelvi posted above. I'll also post a welcome message with more resources to help orient you. Thanks and I hope you stick around! Wugapodes (talk) 02:38, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from abusing warning or blocking templates, as you did to User talk:Softlavender. Doing so is a violation of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you. ANI edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Softlavender (talk) 06:42, 28 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24h for personal attacks and harassment--Ymblanter (talk) 14:03, 28 April 2016 (UTC). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: C [Broken code fragments removed - Huon]Reply
Your block has already expired.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:47, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

=I am sorry but I'm new. Also the bad behavior of Softlavender baited me. I shouldn't have taken the bait from this disruptive sockpuppet and troublemaker that is apparent from his User talk page sorry. I will ignore him. He was, among many things altering my vote with inaccurate text, fyi'; Thank you very much wiki (talk) 18:37, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Procedural decline since the block alreay expired and you are no longer blocked. However, the attitude expressed in the unblock request, including personal attacks while contesting a block for personal attacks (!), is not conductive to collaborative editing. If you keep that up, you'll quickly find yourself blocked again, for longer. Huon (talk) 18:57, 30 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
