A question

Hey, as an alternative to Wikipedia, which is generally more reliable, Britannica or Conservapedia? Thx --GorgeousJ (talk) 17:08, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

@GorgeousJ: Britannica, of course. Conservapedia promotes pseudoscience (scientific creationism, intelligent design) and often indulges in conspiracy theories. It also denies how much US owe to classical liberalism. Do note that I have nothing against conservatives like Reagan, Thatcher and Bush 41. They are rather my models in politics. Is Britannica a respectable source? --GorgeousJ (talk) 15:10, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
@GorgeousJ: Inside Wikipedia we generally avoid to cite other encyclopedias. But, yes, generally speaking Britannica has articles (guess not all) written by full professors who are experts in such field. Tgeorgescu (talk) 15:32, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
How reliable would Britannica be considered? --GorgeousJ (talk) 00:34, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
@GorgeousJ: Depends upon which claim is being verified, who wrote the article, when and so on. Tgeorgescu (talk) 07:59, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
