Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TexasTeam", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests this is a group or shared account. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 10:18, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

hello, thank you for informing me. This is a one person account and not shared with others. TexasTeam (talk) 21:10, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
What does the "Team" refer to? 331dot (talk) 21:15, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
me and havanese 3 year old dog. TexasTeam (talk) 21:26, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
me and havenese 3 year old and the state where i lived TexasTeam (talk) 21:28, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am not going to pursue this further, but I would ask you to just consider changing it, because other editors are going to think this account is a group account. If you want to change it, you may do so at Special:GlobalRenameRequest. At a minimum, I would make it very clear on your user page that this is an individual account. 331dot (talk) 21:31, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
i understand. Thank you for your time. Greatly appreciated! i will think about it and might reconsidering changing it. TexasTeam (talk) 21:34, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Dan Nigro - a musician, songwriter and record producer.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dan Nigro - a musician, songwriter and record producer.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 22:51, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thanks! I have done it with good faith but if photo fails wikipedia guidelines. I understand upon its removal. TexasTeam (talk) 23:06, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
See WP:NFCC#1. It's not sufficient that there is no free photo that you can find, it must also be the case that no free photo could be made. For a living person, a free photo could be made by somebody snapping a picture of him. -- Whpq (talk) 23:16, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
i accept its removal or i will remove it myself, while i try to see permission or find a free photo of him. Anyway, thanks TexasTeam (talk) 23:24, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ciclope Festival moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Ciclope Festival, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ciclope Festival is an international festival for craft which has been held in Berlin, Germany since 2010. It also has regional events in Africa, Asia and Mexico. I have attached reliable links to its article. Thank you TexasTeam (talk) 16:27, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. PRAXIDICAE🌈 16:25, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

i don't have multiple accounts. thank you. TexasTeam (talk) 15:41, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
okay, thank you for the advice. you have a good one. TexasTeam (talk) 15:48, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @TexasTeam. My name is @Germerican~enwiki. I read about your problem at the Articles for creation Help desk.

I have an idea. Why don’t we step into communication with each other. We both have the same problems so we could help each other. Yours sincerely, Germerican (talk) 06:24, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thank you for dropping by. As a new editor, wiki sets some rules, and how can we improve our article and page in order for it to be acceptable in wiki standards. And we can work together to improve and help an article. TexasTeam (talk) 15:17, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
