Pandapple edit

Thanks for helping to improve Wikipedia for creating the article Pandapple. Unfortunately, I do not feel that the subject meets our guidelines for notability and I have redirected the article to Sanrio. If, after reviewing the notability guidelines, you feel that I am incorrect, please leave a note on my talk page and we can discuss it. Thanks. Leebo T/C 20:26, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm glad to see that you were not discouraged by the results of the first couple pages you created. Wikipedia has a lot of policies and guidelines, so becoming familiar with them is not something that can be done all at once. I have a suggestion, you could create a draft of the Pandapple article in your user space (User:Tenorikuma/Pandapple) and experiment with writing it there, if you'd like. That would give you a chance to try things out before introducing it to the encyclopedia. If you'd ever like me to take a look at it, or if you need any help, leave me a note. You can sign your comments on talk pages by adding 4 tildes (~~~~) at the end of them. Happy editing! Leebo T/C 16:18, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Andrew dorn edit

A tag has been placed on Andrew dorn, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornix 17:25, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Leaping edit

Hi, your page would have been deleted since it was in "article space" which is for pages that are part of the encyclopedia proper. I've moved it to User:Tenorikuma/Leaping - you can make pages about Wikipedia under your user space like that, if you like. Friday (talk) 16:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
