Call Recorder article

edit

Good day Telestar Info and thanks for following up with me.

Unfortunately there are, in fact, several problems with your submission. First, is that you are in a position of conflict. Wikipedia does not permit people to submit articles about themselves, their own companies or their own products. Please review Wikipedia's conflict of interest rules. Secondly, you are not considered to be an independent, verifiable source. Please review Wikipedia's guidelines for independent and reliable sources. Thirdly, any independent sources you may have for the information in your article should be cited inline. Please review inline citation help and revise your article to include inline citations. Finally, you will need to be able to meet the notability criteria. Not every app, no matter how terrific, is the subject of a Wikipedia encyclopedia article because Wikipedia is not a web hosting site nor a directory. In order to be accepted the subject of the article must be notable. Please review the notability guidelines for Wikipedia. If it is your company - Telestar - you wish to write about there are specific criteria for notability of corporations you will need to meet. If you are simply hoping to promote your product through Wikipedia, please review "What Wikipedia is Not" - in particular:

5.Advertising. All information about companies and products are written in an objective and unbiased style. All article topics must be verifiable with independent, third-party sources, so articles about very small "garage" or local companies are typically unacceptable. External links to commercial organizations are acceptable if they identify major organizations which are the topic of the article. Wikipedia neither endorses organizations nor runs affiliate programs...

I hope this explanation is helpful and if you are able to revise your article to meet Wikipedia's guidelines I welcome you to do so and resubmit it for review.

Call Recorder article

I'm sorry that you feel the way you clearly do. We are all just volunteer editors trying to work within the guidelines agreed upon over years of trial and error. Your competitor's article may not be appropriate for Wikipedia and, if not, it could be removed. If you provide me the name of the article, I will review it to see if it meets the criteria and if not, I will nominate it for deletion. If you wish to resubmit your article, another reviewer may feel differently. I am not perfect. Some articles I have accepted have been deleted by others and some I have rejected have been accepted by others. I'm just trying to review articles honestly and with integrity. If you feel I am wrong, there is also a dispute resolution page where you can submit your concerns and others will try to resolve the issue. All the best. Snowysusan 21:05, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello Telestarinfo. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled Call Recorder - IntCall.
