Tenley Campus at American University

edit

Do you have any evidence that the Tenley Campus was purchased specifically for the Washington Semester Program, as opposed to a mix of needs for administrative, teaching, performance and living space? --SparqMan 16:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

The evidence that I have is limited to an e-mail I was sent by an administrator of American University, indicating that Tenley was purchased from the Catholic girls school specifically for the Washington Semester program. Tedyc03
Good to hear. Will you please post the contents of the email here or on the talk page of American University and include the name of the administration and his/her post? Thanks. --SparqMan 18:38, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
I seem to have misplaced that particular e-mail; however, I have written to the official again to request confirmation. As soon as I get it, I'll post the e-mail for review. Tedyc03
The information you requested has been added to the American University page. Since I was provided with considerably more information about Tenley than I asked for, I would like to add it for anyone else who might be curious. Is there a proper procedure for adding this information/reorganizing the article? Tedyc03 20:26, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
The only proper procedure is to cite your sources where possible and to be bold in your edits. If you make a mistake or something seems out of line, another editor will likely flag it and follow up with you. I added a welcome message above with some useful starting links. --SparqMan 01:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Web2project

edit

Hi. You created this page recently, and someone else tagged it for speedy deletion. I believe it met the criteria as "spam", technically, since it had a promotional tone ("there's no reason for you not to try it!" or similar), and it didn't mention any reliable sources that backed up the idea that the software is notable. If you'd like a copy of the article to keep in your userspace until it meets the notability criteria, please let me know. - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 21:19, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Web2project

edit

A tag has been placed on Web2project requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Web2project

edit

I have nominated Web2project, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Web2project. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 02:48, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
